Joshua 9:24
They answered Joshua, and said, “Because your servants were certainly told how the LORD your God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you. Therefore we were very afraid for our lives because of you, and have done this thing.

| فَأَجَابُوا يَشُوعَ وَقَالوُا: «أُخْبِرَ عَبِيدُكَ إِخْبَارًا بِمَا أَمَرَ بِهِ ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُكَ مُوسَى عَبْدَهُ أَنْ يُعْطِيَكُمْ كُلَّ ٱلْأَرْضِ، وَيُبِيدَ جَمِيعَ سُكَّانِ ٱلْأَرْضِ مِنْ أَمَامِكُمْ. فَخِفْنَا جِدًّا عَلَى أَنْفُسِنَا مِنْ قِبَلِكُمْ، فَفَعَلْنَا هَذَا ٱلْأَمْرَ. |
| فَأَجَابُوا يَشُوعَ قَائِلِينَ: «لَقَدْ بَلَغَ عَبِيدَكَ أَخْبَارُ مَا وَعَدَ بِهِ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكَ مُوسَى عَبْدَهُ، أَنْ يَهَبَكُمْ كُلَّ الأَرْضِ وَيُهْلِكَ جَمِيعَ سُكَّانِهَا مِنْ أَمَامِكُمْ، فَخَشِينَا جِدّاً عَلَى أَنْفُسِنَا مِنْكُمْ، فَتَوَسَّلْنَا بِالْحِيلَةِ. |
তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে যিহোচূৱাক উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “কিয়নো এইদৰে তোমালোকৰ দাস সকলক কোৱা হৈছিল যে, সকলো দেশ তোমালোকক দিবলৈ আৰু দেশৰ সকলো নিবাসীসকলক তোমালোকৰ আগত ধ্বংস কৰিবলৈ তোমালোকৰ ঈশ্ৱৰ যিহোৱাই তেওঁৰ দাস মোচিক আজ্ঞা দিছিল, সেয়েহে তোমালোকৰ প্ৰতি অতিশয় ভয় কৰি আমি এই কাৰ্য কৰিলোঁ।

The men from Gibeon replied, “We lied to you because we were afraid that you would kill us. We heard that Yahweh, your God, declared to his servant Moses that he would enable you to conquer all the people in this land and to kill all the people who lived in it.

Ceux-ci répondirent: Il a été annoncé à vos serviteurs, que le Seigneur votre Dieu avait promis à Moïse, son serviteur, qu’il vous livrerait toute cette terre, et qu’il en détruirait tous les habitants. Nous avons donc beaucoup craint, et nous avons pourvu à notre vie, poussés par la terreur de votre nom, et nous avons formé ce dessein.
Ils répondirent à Josué, et dirent: On avait rapporté à tes serviteurs les ordres de l’Éternel, ton Dieu, à Moïse, son serviteur, pour vous livrer tout le pays et pour en détruire devant vous tous les habitants, et votre présence nous a inspiré une grande crainte pour notre vie: voilà pourquoi nous avons agi de la sorte.

उन्होंने यहोशू को उत्तर दिया, “तेरे दासों को यह निश्चय बताया गया था, कि तेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा ने अपने दास मूसा को आज्ञा दी थी कि तुम को वह सारा देश दे, और उसके सारे निवासियों को तुम्हारे सामने से सर्वनाश करे; इसलिए हम लोगों को तुम्हारे कारण से अपने प्राणों के लाले पड़ गए, इसलिए हमने ऐसा काम किया।

Jawab mereka, “Hamba-hambamu ini melakukannya karena kami mendengar kabar yang pasti bahwa TUHAN, Allah kalian, sudah berjanji kepada Musa, hamba-Nya, untuk menyerahkan seluruh negeri ini kepada kalian dan membinasakan semua penduduknya. Kami sangat takut kehilangan nyawa. Itu sebabnya kami berbohong.

А вони відповіли Ісусові та й сказали: „Бо справді ви́явлено рабам твоїм, що Господь, Бог твій, наказав Мойсеєві, Своєму рабові, дати вам увесь цей край, і ви́губити всіх ме́шканців цієї землі перед вами. І ми дуже налякалися за своє життя зо страху перед вами, і зробили оцю річ.

Шуниң билән улар Йәшуаға җавап берип: — Пәрвәрдигар Худайиңниң Өз қули болған Мусаға әмир қилип, барлиқ зиминни силәргә беришкә, шундақла зиминда туруватқанларниң һәммисини алдиңлардин йоқитишқа вәдә қилғанлиғи қуллириң болған пеқирларға ениқ мәлум қилинди; шуңа биз силәрниң түпәйлиңлардин җенимиздин җәзмән айрилип қалимиз дәп вәһимигә чүшүп, бу ишни қилип салдуқ.
Shuning bilen ular Yeshuagha jawab bérip: — Perwerdigar Xudayingning Öz quli bolghan Musagha emr qilip, barliq zéminni silerge bérishke, shundaqla zéminda turuwatqanlarning hemmisini aldinglardin yoqitishqa wede qilghanliqi qulliring bolghan péqirlargha éniq melum qilindi; shunga biz silerning tüpeylinglardin jénimizdin jezmen ayrilip qalimiz dep wehimige chüshüp, bu ishni qilip salduq.
Xuning bilǝn ular Yǝxuaƣa jawab berip: — Pǝrwǝrdigar Hudayingning Ɵz ⱪuli bolƣan Musaƣa ǝmr ⱪilip, barliⱪ zeminni silǝrgǝ berixkǝ, xundaⱪla zeminda turuwatⱪanlarning ⱨǝmmisini aldinglardin yoⱪitixⱪa wǝdǝ ⱪilƣanliⱪi ⱪulliring bolƣan peⱪirlarƣa eniⱪ mǝlum ⱪilindi; xunga biz silǝrning tüpǝylinglardin jenimizdin jǝzmǝn ayrilip ⱪalimiz dǝp wǝⱨimigǝ qüxüp, bu ixni ⱪilip salduⱪ.
