તેથી યહોશુઆ આય પર ચઢાઈ કરવા માટે તૈયાર થયો. સર્વ લડવૈયાને સાથે લીધાં. યહોશુઆએ ત્રીસ હજાર માણસોને પસંદ કર્યા, તેઓ બળવાન તથા હિંમતવાન પુરુષો હતા. તેણે તેઓને રાત્રે બહાર મોકલ્યા.

अतः यहोशू ने सब योद्धाओं समेत आई पर चढ़ाई करने की तैयारी की; और यहोशू ने तीस हजार पुरुषों को जो शूरवीर थे चुनकर रात ही को आज्ञा देकर भेजा।
तब यहोशू अपने समस्त योद्धाओं को लेकर अय पर आक्रमण के लिए निकल पड़े. यहोशू ने तीस हजार वीर योद्धा चुने और उन्हें रात को ही वहां भेज दिया.

ヨシュアは立って、すべてのいくさびとと共に、アイに攻め上ろうとして、まず大勇士三万人を選び、それを夜のうちにつかわした。
