The children of Israel heard this, “Behold, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh have built an altar along the border of the land of Canaan, in the region around the Jordan, on the side that belongs to the children of Israel.”

| فَقِيلَ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ: «هَا قَدْ بَنَى أَبْنَاءُ رَأُوبَيْنَ وَجَادٍ وَأَبْنَاءُ نِصْفِ سِبْطِ مَنَسَّى مَذْبَحاً فِي حَوْضِ نَهْرِ الأُرْدُنِّ مُقَابِلَ جَانِبِنَا مِنَ النَّهْرِ». |
এতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলে এই বিষয়ে শুনি ক’লে যে, “চোৱা! ৰূবেণ ও গাদৰ সন্তান সকলে আৰু মনচিৰ আধা ফৈদে কনান দেশৰ সন্মুখত যৰ্দ্দনৰ অঞ্চলত ইস্ৰায়েলৰ লোকসকলে অধিকাৰ কৰা দাঁতিত এটা যজ্ঞবেদী নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰিলে।”

The Israelites were told, “Look, the tribes of Reuben and Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have built an altar in the Jordan region of the land of Canaan, on the side belonging to the Israelities.”

But the other Israelis who were still at Shiloh heard about the altar that those men had built.

Und die Söhne Israels hörten sagen: Siehe, die Söhne Rubens und die Söhne Gads und der halbe Stamm Menascheh haben den Altar gebaut dem Lande Kanaan gegenüber, in den Kreisen des Jordans, jenseits der Söhne Israels.
Na rĩrĩa andũ a Isiraeli maaiguire atĩ nĩmakĩte kĩgongona kĩu mũhaka-inĩ wa Kaanani kũu Gelilothu gũkuhĩ na Rũũĩ rwa Jorodani mwena wa andũ a Isiraeli-rĩ,
Και ήκουσαν οι υιοί Ισραήλ να λέγηται, Ιδού, οι υιοί Ρουβήν και οι υιοί Γαδ και το ήμισυ της φυλής Μανασσή ωκοδόμησαν θυσιαστήριον κατέναντι της γης Χαναάν, εις τα πέριξ του Ιορδάνου, κατά την διάβασιν των Ισραήλ.

और इसका समाचार इस्राएलियों के सुनने में आया, कि रूबेनियों, गादियों, और मनश्शे के आधे गोत्रियों ने कनान देश के सामने यरदन की तराई में, अर्थात् उसके उस पार जो इस्राएलियों का है, एक वेदी बनाई है।
जब इस्राएलियों को यह पता चला, तो वे कहने लगे, “देखो, रियूबेन, गाद तथा मनश्शेह के आधे गोत्र ने कनान देश के द्वार पर एक वेदी बनाई है, जो यरदन में उस ओर है, जो इस्राएल के वंश की संपत्ति है.”

Lalu terdengarlah kabar oleh suku-suku Israel lainnya, “Suku Ruben, Gad, dan separuh suku Manasye sudah membangun mezbah di perbatasan negeri Kanaan, di Gelilot dekat sungai Yordan, di sisi kita.”
