Joshua 14:12
Now therefore give me this hill country, of which the LORD spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anakim were there, and great and fortified cities. It may be that the LORD will be with me, and I shall drive them out, as the LORD said.”

| فَٱلْآنَ أَعْطِنِي هَذَا ٱلْجَبَلَ ٱلَّذِي تَكَلَّمَ عَنْهُ ٱلرَّبُّ فِي ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ. لِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَ فِي ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ أَنَّ ٱلْعَنَاقِيِّينَ هُنَاكَ، وَٱلْمُدُنُ عَظِيمَةٌ مُحَصَّنَةٌ. لَعَلَّ ٱلرَّبَّ مَعِي فَأَطْرُدَهُمْ كَمَا تَكَلَّمَ ٱلرَّبُّ». |
| وَالآنَ، هَبْنِي إِقْلِيمَ الْجَبَلِ الَّذِي تَكَلَّمَ عَنْهُ الرَّبُّ فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ، لأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ بِنَفْسِكَ سَمِعْتَ آنَئِذٍ أَنَّ الْعَنَاقِيِّينَ كَانُوا هُنَاكَ، وَأَنَّ مُدُنَهُمْ ضَخْمَةٌ وَحَصِينَةٌ، لَعَلِّي أَطْرُدُهُمْ بِمَعُونَةِ الرَّبِّ كَمَا وَعَدَ». |
সেই বাবে মোক এতিয়া এই পর্বতৰ ৰাজ্যখন দিয়ক, এই পর্বতৰ বিষয়ে সেই দিনা যিহোৱাই মোক আশা দিছিল৷ কিয়নো সেই সময়ত অনাকীয়াসকল তাত আছিল আৰু নগৰবোৰ ডাঙৰ ডাঙৰ গড়েৰে আবৃত৷ সেই দিনা কৈছিলোঁ ‘যিহোৱা মোৰ লগত থাকিব আৰু যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য অনুসাৰে মই তেওঁলোকক দূৰ কৰিম’। সেই দিনা বোধ কৰোঁ, এই বিষয়ে তুমি শুনিছিলা৷”

অতএব সেই দিন সদাপ্রভু এই যে পর্বতের বিষয় বলেছিলেন, এখন তা আমাকে দাও; কারণ তুমি সেই দিন শুনেছিলে যে, অনাকীয়েরা সেখানে থাকে এবং নগরগুলি বড় ও প্রাচীর দিয়ে ঘেরা; হয় তো, সদাপ্রভু আমার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে থাকবেন, আর আমি সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য অনুসারে তাদেরকে অধিকার থেকে বঞ্চিত করব।”
সেদিন সদাপ্রভু আমার কাছে যে প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছিলেন, সেই প্রতিজ্ঞানুসারে এখন আপনি আমাকে এই পার্বত্য দেশটি দিন। তখন তো আপনি স্বয়ং সেকথা শুনেছিলেন যে, অনাকীয়েরা সেখানে আছে এবং তাদের নগরগুলি বড়ো বড়ো ও দেয়াল-ঘেরা, কিন্তু সদাপ্রভুর সাহায্য নিয়ে আমি তাদের সেখান থেকে তাড়িয়ে দেব, ঠিক যেমনটি তিনি বলেছিলেন।”

求你将耶和华那日应许我的这山地给我；那里有亚衲族人，并宽大坚固的城，你也曾听见了。或者耶和华照他所应许的与我同在，我就把他们赶出去。”

So give me the hill country that the Lord spoke about. You heard at that time about the descendants of Anak who lived there in large, fortified towns. If the Lord is with me I will drive them out as the Lord promised.”

So please give me the hilly area that Yahweh promised to give to me at that time long ago. At that time, you heard [me say] that the Amalek people-group lived there. You heard me say that their cities were large, and they had walls around them [to protect them from attacks by their enemies]. But now, Yahweh will help me, and as a result I will force them to leave, just like Yahweh said would happen.”
Now therefore give me this hill country, which Yahweh promised me on that day. For you heard on that day that the Anakim were there with great fortified cities. It may be that Yahweh will be with me and that I will drive them out, just as Yahweh said.”

Donne-moi donc cette montagne, que ma promise le Seigneur, toi-même l’entendant, sur laquelle sont des Enacim, des villes grandes et fortifiées; pour voir si le Seigneur sera avec moi, et si je pourrai les exterminer comme il m’a promis.

Je te demande donc cette montagne, selon ce que ce jour-là m'a promis le Seigneur, parce que ce jour-là, tu as entendu sa promesse. Maintenant voici les villes d'Enac grandes et fortifiées. Si donc le Seigneur est avec moi, j'exterminerai ceux qui les habitent, comme me l'a dit le Seigneur.

ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆ ದಿನದಂದು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಈ ಪರ್ವತ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡು ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತ ಪುರುಷರು (ಅನಾಕ್ಯರು) ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ದೊಡ್ಡದೂ, ಕೋಟೆಕೊತ್ತಲುಳ್ಳವುಗಳೂ ಆಗಿವೆ ಎಂದೂ ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನೇ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೀಯಲ್ಲಾ. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಮಾತಿಗನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವನೆಂದು ನಂಬಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ” ಅಂದನು.

അതുകൊണ്ട് യഹോവ അന്നു വാഗ്ദാനംചെയ്ത ഈ മലമ്പ്രദേശം എനിക്കു തരിക. അനാക്യർ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടെന്നും അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ വിസ്തൃതമെന്നും കോട്ടകെട്ടി ബലപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുള്ളവയെന്നും നീ അന്നു കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ, എന്നാൽ, യഹോവയുടെ സഹായത്താൽ അവിടന്നു കൽപ്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാൻ അവരെ തുരത്തും.”

ထို့ကြောင့်အကျွန်ုပ်နှင့်အပေါင်းအဖော် တို့သတင်းပြန်ကြားအစီရင်ခံသောနေ့ ၌ ထာဝရဘုရားကပေးမည်ဟုကတိ ထားတော်မူသောဤတောင်ကုန်းဒေသ ကိုအကျွန်ုပ်အားပေးပါ။ ထိုဒေသတွင် ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာထွားကြိုင်းသောအာနကအမျိုး သားများသည် ခိုင်ခံ့သောမြို့ရိုးများအတွင်း နေထိုင်ကြောင်းကိုအကျွန်ုပ်တို့အစီရင်ခံခဲ့ ကြပါသည်။ သို့သော်လည်းထာဝရဘုရား သည်အကျွန်ုပ်နှင့်အတူရှိတော်မူလျှင် ကတိတော်အတိုင်းအကျွန်ုသည်ထိုသူ တို့ကိုတိုက်ခိုက်နှင်ထုတ်နိုင်ပါလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုတောင်းဆိုလေ၏။
