তখন সূর্য্য স্থির হল ও চন্দ্র স্থির থাকল, যতক্ষণ না সেই জাতি শত্রুদের উপর প্রতিশোধ নিল। এই কথা কি যাশের বইতে লেখা নেই? আর মধ্য আকাশে সূর্য্য স্থির থাকল, অস্ত যেতে প্রায় সম্পূর্ণ এক দিন দেরি করল।
তাই সূর্য স্থির হয়ে দাঁড়াল, চাঁদও থেমে রইল, যতক্ষণ না সেই জাতি তার শত্রুদের উপর প্রতিশোধ নিল, যেমনটি যাশেরের পুস্তকে লেখা আছে। সূর্য মধ্যাকাশে থেমে রইল ও অস্ত যেতে প্রায় সম্পূর্ণ একদিন দেরি করল।
