तब बाबेल के राजा ने सिदकिय्याह के पुत्रों को उसकी आँखों के सामने रिबला में घात किया; और सब कुलीन यहूदियों को भी घात किया।
तत्पश्चात बाबेल के राजा ने सीदकियाहू के देखते-देखते रिबलाह में उसके पुत्रों का वध कर डाला, बाबेल के राजा ने यहूदिया के सारे अधिकारियों का भी वध कर दिया.
