Now therefore the LORD, the God of Israel, says concerning this city, about which you say, “It is given into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence:”

এই কাৰণে এতিয়া, মই যিহোৱা, ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰে এই নগৰৰ বিষয়ে কৈছে, যাৰ বিষয়ে তোমালোকে কৈছা, ‘যি তৰোৱাল, আকাল আৰু মহামাৰীৰ দ্বাৰাই এই নগৰখন বাবিলৰ ৰজাৰ হাতত শোধাই দিয়া হৈছে:

| ועתה לכן כה אמר יהוה אלהי ישראל אל העיר הזאת אשר אתם אמרים נתנה ביד מלך בבל בחרב וברעב ובדבר׃ |
| וְעַתָּה לָכֵן כֹּֽה־אָמַר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל־הָעִיר הַזֹּאת אֲשֶׁר ׀ אַתֶּם אֹמְרִים נִתְּנָה בְּיַד מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶל בַּחֶרֶב וּבָרָעָב וּבַדָּֽבֶר׃ |
