“For the land is full of adulterers; for because of the curse the land mourns. The pastures of the wilderness have dried up. Their course is evil, and their might is not right;

| لأَنَّ الأَرْضَ قَدِ اكْتَظَّتْ بِالْفَاسِقِينَ، وَنَاحَتْ مِنْ عَاقِبَةِ لَعْنَةِ اللهِ، فَجَفَّتْ مَرَاعِي الْحُقُولِ لأَنَّ مَسَاعِيَهُمْ بَاتَتْ شِرِّيرَةً، وَجَبَرُوتَهُمْ مُسَخَّرٌ لِلْبَاطِلِ». |
কিয়নো দেশ ব্যভিচাৰী লোকেৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ; কাৰণ শাওৰ প্ৰভাৱত দেশে শোক কৰিছে। অৰণ্যত থকা চৰণীয়া ঠাইবোৰ শুকাইছে; তেওঁলোকৰ গতি মন্দ, আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ পৰাক্ৰম ন্যায়সঙ্গত নহয়।

দেশ সব ব্যভিচারীতে পূর্ণ; অভিশাপের কারণে দেশ শুকনো হয়ে পড়ে আছে, মরুপ্রান্তের সব চারণভূমি শুকিয়ে গেছে। ভাববাদীরা এক মন্দ উপায় অবলম্বন করে, তারা তাদের ক্ষমতার অন্যায় ব্যবহার করে।

地满了行淫的人！ 因妄自赌咒，地就悲哀； 旷野的草场都枯干了。 他们所行的道乃是恶的； 他们的勇力使得不正。

Want het land is vol overspelers, want het land treurt vanwege den vloek, de weiden der woestijn verdorren, omdat hun loop boos is, en hun macht niet recht.

કેમ કે દેશ વ્યભિચારીઓથી ભરાઈ ગયો છે. આ કારણે દેશ શોક કરે છે. જંગલમાંનાં બીડો સુકાઈ ગયાં છે. આ પ્રબોધકોનો’ માર્ગ દુષ્ટ છે; અને તેઓ પોતાની સત્તાનો યોગ્ય ઉપયોગ કરતા નથી.

क्योंकि यह देश व्यभिचारियों से भरा है; इस पर ऐसा श्राप पड़ा है कि यह विलाप कर रहा है; वन की चराइयाँ भी सूख गई। लोग बड़ी दौड़ तो दौड़ते हैं, परन्तु बुराई ही की ओर; और वीरता तो करते हैं, परन्तु अन्याय ही के साथ।
देश व्यभिचारियों से परिपूर्ण हो चुका है; शाप के कारण देश विलाप में डूबा हुआ है, निर्जन प्रदेश के चराई शुष्क हो चुके हैं. उनकी जीवनशैली संकटमय है तथा उनका बल का उपयोग अन्याय के कामों में होता है.
