Jeremiah 21:10
For I have set my face on this city for evil, and not for good,” says the LORD. “It will be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will burn it with fire.”’

કેમ કે આ નગરનું ભલું નહિ, પણ વિનાશ કરવાને મેં મારું મુખ ફેરવ્યું છે’ એમ યહોવાહ કહે છે. ‘તેને બાબિલના રાજાના હાથમાં સોંપી દેવામાં આવશે અને તે બાળી દેવામાં આવશે.

क्योंकि यहोवा की यह वाणी है कि मैंने इस नगर की ओर अपना मुख भलाई के लिये नहीं, वरन् बुराई ही के लिये किया है; यह बाबेल के राजा के वश में पड़ जाएगा, और वह इसको फुँकवा देगा।
कारण यह है कि मैंने इस नगर पर संकट लाने का निश्चय कर लिया है, कल्याण का नहीं, यह याहवेह की वाणी है. यह नगर बाबेल के राजा को सौंप दिया जाएगा, जो इसे भस्म कर डालेगा.’

Aku sudah memutuskan untuk menghancurkan kota ini, dan tidak menyayangkannya. Kota ini akan diserahkan kepada raja Babel; ia akan membakarnya sampai habis sama sekali. Aku, TUHAN, telah berbicara."
Sebab Aku telah menentang kota ini untuk mendatangkan kecelakaan dan bukan untuk mendatangkan keberuntungannya, demikianlah firman TUHAN. Kota ini akan diserahkan ke dalam tangan raja Babel yang akan membakarnya habis dengan api."
