Jeremiah 14:17
“You shall say this word to them: “‘Let my eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease; for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous wound.

| وَقُلْ لَهُمْ هَذَا الْكَلاَمَ: «لِتَذْرِفْ عَيْنَايَ دُمُوعاً لَيْلاً وَنَهَاراً، وَلاَ تَكُفَّا أَبَداً لأَنَّ أُورُشَلِيمَ سُحِقَتْ سَحْقاً عَظِيماً بِضَرْبَةٍ أَلِيمَةٍ جِدّاً. |

Und du sollst dieses Wort zu ihnen sprechen: Nacht und Tag rinnen meine Augen von Tränen und hören nicht auf; denn die Jungfrau, die Tochter meines Volkes, ist mit großer Zerschmetterung, mit einem sehr schmerzlichen Schlage zerschmettert.
Du aber sage ihnen dieses Wort: Zerfließen sollen meine Augen in Thränen bei Nacht und bei Tag und nicht aufhören, denn fürchterlich zerschlagen ward die Jungfrau, die Tochter meines Volks, ganz unheilbar verwundet!
Und du sollst zu ihnen sagen dies Wort: Meine Augen fließen mit Tränen Tag und Nacht und hören nicht auf; denn die Jungfrau, die Tochter meines Volks, ist greulich zerplagt und jämmerlich geschlagen.

Auch das sollst du ihnen sagen: Meine Augen zerfließen in Tränen Tag und Nacht, ohne Aufhören; denn schwer verwundet ist die Jungfrau, die Tochter meines Volkes, durch einen sehr gefährlichen Schlag.
Und du sprich dieses Wort zu ihnen: Nacht und Tag fließen herab mit Tränen Meine Augen, und wollen nicht stille sein, denn mit großem Bruch ist die Jungfrau, die Tochter Meines Volkes zerbrochen, mit einem sehr schmerzhaften Schlage.

Διά τούτο θέλεις ειπεί προς αυτούς τον λόγον τούτον· Ας χύσωσιν οι οφθαλμοί μου δάκρυα, νύκτα και ημέραν, και ας μη παύσωσι· διότι η παρθένος, η θυγάτηρ του λαού μου, συνετρίφθη σύντριμμα μέγα, πληγήν οδυνηράν σφόδρα.
καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτοὺς τὸν λόγον τοῦτον καταγάγετε ἐπ’ ὀφθαλμοὺς ὑμῶν δάκρυα ἡμέρας καὶ νυκτός καὶ μὴ διαλιπέτωσαν ὅτι συντρίμματι συνετρίβη θυγάτηρ λαοῦ μου καὶ πληγῇ ὀδυνηρᾷ σφόδρα
તેઓને આ પ્રમાણે કહે કે; મારી આંખોમાંથી દિનરાત આંસુઓ વહી જાઓ. અને બંધ ન થાઓ, કેમ કે મારા લોકની દીકરી મોટા ઘાથી અતિ ભારે ઝખમથી ઘાયલ થઈ છે.

| וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵיהֶם אֶת־הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה תֵּרַדְנָה עֵינַי דִּמְעָה לַיְלָה וְיוֹמָם וְאַל־תִּדְמֶינָה כִּי שֶׁבֶר גָּדוֹל נִשְׁבְּרָה בְּתוּלַת בַּת־עַמִּי מַכָּה נַחְלָה מְאֹֽד׃ |
