Do not travel [MTY] long distances on Sabbath/rest days, and on Sabbath days do not do only the things that you delight to do. Enjoy the Sabbath days, and consider them to be delightful. The Sabbath days are my holy days. Honor me, Yahweh, in everything that you do [on the Sabbath days]. Do not talk about and do things [only] to please yourselves. If you do all the things that I have just now told you to do,
Suppose that you turn back your feet from traveling on the Sabbath day, and from doing your own pleasure on my holy day. Suppose that you call the Sabbath a delight, and that you call the matters of Yahweh holy and honored. Suppose that you honor the Sabbath by leaving your own business, and by not finding your own pleasure and by not speaking your own words.

Si tu t'abstiens de fouler aux pieds le sabbat, en t'occupant de tes affaires en mon saint jour, et que tu appelles le sabbat tes délices, vénérable le saint jour de Yahweh, et que tu l'honores en ne poursuivant point tes voies, en ne te livrant pas à tes affaires et à de vains discours;
Si tu retires ton pied du Sabbat, [toi] qui fais ta volonté au jour de ma sainteté; et si tu appelles le Sabbat tes délices, et honorable ce qui est saint à l'Eternel, et que tu l'honores en ne suivant point tes voies, ne trouvant point ta volonté, et n'usant point [de beaucoup] de paroles;
Si tu défends à tes pieds de transgresser les sabbats pour ne point faire à ta volonté en un jour saint; si tu trouves des délices aux sabbats consacrés à Dieu; si tu t'abstiens de tes travaux; si aucun mot de colère ne sort de ta bouche;
So du deinen Fuß von dem Sabbat kehrst, daß du nicht tust, was dir gefällt an meinem heiligen Tage, und den Sabbat eine Lust heißt und den Tag, der dem HERRN heilig ist, ehrest, so du ihn also ehrest, daß du nicht tust deine Wege, noch darin erfunden werde, was dir gefällt oder leeres Geschwätz;

Raha miaro ny tongotrao amin’ ny Sabata ianao ka tsy manao izay tianao amin’ ny androko masìna, ary manao ny Sabata hoe Fahafinaretana, ary ny nohamasinin’ i Jehovah hoe mendrika hohajaina, ka manome voninahitra azy ary tsy mandeha amin’ ny lalanao, na manao izay tianao, na miteniteny foana,

Jeśli powstrzymasz swoją nogę od przekraczania szabatu, aby nie wykonać swojej woli w moim świętym dniu; jeśli nazwiesz szabat rozkoszą, [dzień] święty PANA – szanownym; jeśli go uczcisz, nie czyniąc swoich spraw ani nie wykonując swojej woli, ani nie mówiąc słowa próżnego;
Če odvrneš svoje stopalo pred sábat, pred tem, da počneš svoje zadovoljstvo na moj sveti dan in imenuješ sábat veselje, [dan] svet Gospodu, častitljiv in ga boš častil in ne izvajal svojih lastnih poti niti iskal svojega lastnega zadovoljstva niti govoril svojih lastnih besed:

Si guardas el sábado con cuidado, no haces tus asuntos en mi día santo; y si el sábado te parece un deleite; el día santo del Señor, honorable y lo honras; y si lo respetas para no ocuparte de tus asuntos, o perseguir tu placer, o decir palabras profanas;
