It may be the LORD your God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master has sent to defy the living God, and will rebuke the words which the LORD your God has heard. Therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.’”

Il se peut que Yahvé ton Dieu entende les paroles de Rabschaké, que le roi d'Assyrie son maître a envoyé pour défier le Dieu vivant, et qu'il réprouve les paroles que Yahvé ton Dieu a entendues. C'est pourquoi tu dois élever ta prière pour le reste qui est resté. »
Peut-être l’Éternel, ton Dieu, entendra-t-il les paroles du Rab-Shaké, que le roi d’Assyrie, son seigneur, a envoyé pour outrager le Dieu vivant, et punira-t-il les paroles que l’Éternel, ton Dieu, a entendues. Fais donc monter une prière pour le résidu qui se trouve [encore].
Peut-être que l'Eternel ton Dieu aura entendu les paroles de Rabsaké, lequel le Roi des Assyriens son maître a envoyé pour blasphémer le Dieu vivant, et lui faire outrage, selon les paroles que l'Eternel ton Dieu a ouïes; fais donc requête pour le reste qui se trouve encore.
Peut-être que le Seigneur ton Dieu entendra les paroles de Rabsacès qu’a envoyé le roi des Assyriens son maître pour blasphémer le Dieu vivant, et pour l’insulter par les paroles qu’a entendues le Seigneur ton Dieu; fais donc monter une prière pour les restes qui ont été retrouvés.
Peut-être l’Éternel, ton Dieu, a-t-il entendu les paroles de Rabschaké, que le roi d’Assyrie, son maître, a envoyé pour insulter le Dieu vivant, et peut-être l’Éternel, ton Dieu, exercera-t-il ses châtiments à cause des paroles qu’il a entendues. ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തെ അവഹേളിക്കുന്നതിനായി അശ്ശൂർരാജാവ് അയച്ച യുദ്ധക്കളത്തിലെ അധിപൻ പറഞ്ഞവാക്കുകൾ അങ്ങയുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഒരുപക്ഷേ കേൾക്കും; ആ വാക്കുകൾമൂലം അങ്ങയുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അയാളെ ശിക്ഷിക്കും. അതിനാൽ ഇസ്രായേലിൽ ഇന്നുള്ള ശേഷിപ്പിനുവേണ്ടി അങ്ങു പ്രാർഥിക്കണേ!”

Có lẽ Giê-hô-va Ðức Chúa Trời ngươi sẽ nghe những lời của Ráp-sa-kê mà chủ nó là vua A-si-ri đã sai đến để đố thách Ðức Chúa Trời hằng sống; và có lẽ Ngài sẽ quở phạt nó theo như những lời mà Giê-hô-va Ðức Chúa Trời ngươi đã nghe: vậy xin hãy vì những người còn lại đây mà cầu nguyện!
Nhưng có lẽ Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của ông đã nghe lời của các trưởng quan A-sy-ri được sai đến để nói lời nhạo báng Đức Chúa Trời hằng sống, và sẽ phạt vua vì những lời vua ấy đã nói. Ôi, xin ông cầu nguyện cho chúng tôi là những người còn lại đây!”
