“The LORD of Armies says: Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,

Dit is die stad, die opspringt van vreugde, die zeker woont, die in haar hart zegt: Ik ben het, en buiten mij is geen meer; hoe is zij geworden tot woestheid, een rustplaats van het gedierte! Een ieder, die daardoor trekt, zal ze aanfluiten, hij zal zijn hand bewegen.
Zo spreekt Jahweh der heirscharen! Vraag aan de priesters een uitspraak:

“Ganito ang sinasabi ni Yahweh ng mga hukbo: 'Tanungin mo ang mga pari tungkol sa kautusan, at sabihin mo:
ஒருவன் தன் ஆடையின் தொங்கலிலே பரிசுத்த மாம்சத்தைக் கொண்டுபோகும்போது தன் ஆடையின் தொங்கல், அப்பத்தையாகிலும், சாதத்தையாகிலும், திராட்சைரசத்தையாகிலும், எண்ணெயையாகிலும், மற்றெந்த உணவையாகிலும் தொட்டால் அது பரிசுத்தமாகுமோ என்று நீ ஆசாரியர்களிடத்தில் வேத நியாயத்தைப்பற்றிக் கேள் என்று சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார் என்றார்.
“சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்வது இதுவே: ‘நீ ஆசாரியர்களிடம், சட்டம் சொல்வது என்ன? என்று கேள்:
సేనల ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఇలా ఆజ్ఞ ఇస్తున్నాడు. యాజకుల దగ్గర ధర్మశాస్త్ర విచారణ చెయ్యి.

Đức Giê-hô-va vạn quân phán như vầy: Bây giờ hãy hỏi các thầy tế lễ về luật pháp rằng:
