എന്നാൽ യെഹൂദയുടെ ആദ്യജാതനായ ഏർ യഹോവയുടെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ ഒരു ദുഷ്ടനായിരുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് യഹോവ അവനെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.
परंतु यहूदाचा प्रथम जन्मलेला मुलगा एर हा परमेश्वराच्या दृष्टीने दुष्ट होता. परमेश्वराने त्यास ठार मारले.
