Genesis 18:29
He spoke to him yet again, and said, “What if there are forty found there?” He said, “I will not do it for the forty’s sake.”

অব্রাহামে আকৌ তেওঁক ক’লে, “ধৰক, যদি তাত মাত্র চল্লিশজন ধার্মিক লোকক পোৱা গ’ল!” তেওঁ ক’লে, “সেই চল্লিশজনৰ কাৰণেও মই বিনষ্ট নকৰোঁ।”
İbrahim yenə Onu dilə tutub dedi: «Əgər orada qırx nəfər tapılsa, necə?» Rəbb dedi: «Qırx nəfərin də xatirinə bunu etmərəm».

And he continued to speak to him still, and said, But if there should be found there forty? And he said, I will not destroy it for the forty's sake.

Abraham spoke up again and he asked the Lord, “What if only forty can be found?” “I won't do it for the sake of the forty,” the Lord replied.
And he yet spake to him againe, and saide, What if there shalbe found fourtie there? Then he answered, I will not doe it for fourties sake.
And he spoke unto Him yet again, and said: 'Peradventure there shall be forty found there.' And He said: 'I will not do it for the forty's sake.'

Abraham continued to speak to him [like this], saying, “What will you do if you find that there are only 40 righteous people there?” Yahweh replied, “I will not destroy them all, for the sake of the 40.”
And he spake vnto him yet agayne and sayde: what yf there be. xl. foude there: And he sayde: I wyll not do it for forties sake.

And he addeth again to speak unto Him and saith, 'Peradventure there are found there forty?' and He saith, 'I do [it] not, because of the forty.'

Et il lui parla de nouveau: Mais s’il s’en trouve là quarante, que ferez-vous? Dieu répondit: Je ne la frapperai pas, à cause des quarante.
Abraham continua de lui parler, et dit: Peut-être s’y trouvera-t-il quarante justes. Et l’Éternel dit: Je ne ferai rien, à cause de ces quarante.
Abraham continua encore à lui parler et dit: « Peut-être s’y trouvera-t-il quarante justes. » Et il dit: « Je ne le ferai pas, à cause de ces quarante. »
Et Abraham continua de lui parler, et dit: Peut-être s'y en trouvera-t-il quarante? Et il dit: Je ne le ferai point, pour l'amour de ces quarante.
Et il continua encore l'entretien avec Lui et dit: Peut-être s'y en trouvera-t-il quarante. Et Il dit: En considération des quarante je m'abstiendrai.
Et Abraham, continuant de parler au Seigneur, dit: S'il s'en trouve quarante? Le Seigneur reprit: En faveur des quarante, je ne la détruirai pas.
Il insista encore, en lui disant: "Peut-être s’y en trouvera-t-il quarante?" II répondit: "Je m’abstiendrai à cause de ces quarante."

Und er fuhr fort mit ihm zu reden und sprach: Man möchte vielleicht vierzig darin finden. Er aber sprach: Ich will ihnen nichts tun um der vierzig willen.
Darauf fuhr Abraham fort, ihn nochmals anzureden, und sagte: »Vielleicht finden sich deren dort nur vierzig.« Jener erwiderte: »Ich will ihnen um der vierzig willen nichts tun.«
Und er fuhr weiter fort mit ihm zu reden und sprach: Man möchte vielleicht vierzig darin finden. Er aber sprach: Ich will ihnen nichts tun, um der vierzig willen.
Und er fuhr fort, mit Ihm zu reden, und sprach: Vielleicht finden sich dort vierzig; und Er sprach: Ich will es nicht tun um der vierzig willen.
O rĩngĩ Iburahĩmu akĩmwarĩria akĩmũũria atĩrĩ, “Ĩ ũngĩkora andũ mĩrongo ĩna tu kuo?” Nake akiuga atĩrĩ, “Nĩ ũndũ wa acio mĩrongo ĩna-rĩ, ndikũrĩniina.”
Και προσέθεσεν έτι ο Αβραάμ να λαλήση προς αυτόν, και είπεν, Εάν ευρεθώσιν εκεί τεσσαράκοντα; Και είπε, Δεν θέλω απολέσει αυτήν χάριν των τεσσαράκοντα.
καὶ προσέθηκεν ἔτι λαλῆσαι πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ εἶπεν ἐὰν δὲ εὑρεθῶσιν ἐκεῖ τεσσαράκοντα καὶ εἶπεν οὐ μὴ ἀπολέσω ἕνεκεν τῶν τεσσαράκοντα
તેણે ફરી તેમની સાથે વાત કરી અને કહ્યું, “કદાચ ત્યાં ચાળીસ ન્યાયી મળે તો?” તેમણે ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “ચાળીસને લીધે પણ હું એમ નહિ કરું.”

फिर उसने उससे यह भी कहा, “कदाचित् वहाँ चालीस मिलें।” उसने कहा, “तो मैं चालीस के कारण भी ऐसा न करूँगा।”
एक बार फिर अब्राहाम ने याहवेह से कहा, “यदि वहां चालीस ही धर्मी पाए जाएं तो?” याहवेह ने उत्तर दिया, “उन चालीस के कारण भी मैं नाश न करूंगा.”

Abraham berkata lagi, "Bagaimana kalau hanya ada empat puluh orang?" TUHAN menjawab, "Demi empat puluh orang itu, akan Kubatalkan niat-Ku."
Lagi Abraham melanjutkan perkataannya kepada-Nya: "Sekiranya empat puluh didapati di sana?" Firman-Nya: "Aku tidak akan berbuat demikian karena yang empat puluh itu."
Abraham berkata lagi, “Bagaimana kalau hanya ada empat puluh orang?” Jawab TUHAN, “Aku tidak akan membinasakannya karena keempat puluh orang baik itu.”

アブラハム又重ねてヱホバに言上して曰けるは若彼處に四十人看えなば如何ヱホバ言たまふ我四十人のために之をなさじ

ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇನ್ನೂ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, “ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಲ್ವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಾರು” ಎನ್ನಲು ಆತನು, “ನಲ್ವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದರೆ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ನಾಶ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದನು.
