The LORD said to Abram, after Lot was separated from him, “Now, lift up your eyes, and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward,

| وَقَالَ الرَّبُّ لأَبْرَامَ بَعْدَ أَنِ اعْتَزَلَ عَنْهُ لُوطٌ: «ارْفَعْ عَيْنَيْكَ وَتَلَفَّتْ حَوْلَكَ مِنَ الْمَوْضِعِ الَّذِي أَنْتَ فِيهِ، شِمَالاً وَجَنُوباً، شَرْقاً وَغَرْباً، |

| וַֽיהוָ֞ה אָמַ֣ר אֶל־אַבְרָ֗ם אַחֲרֵי֙ הִפָּֽרֶד־ל֣וֹט מֵֽעִמּ֔וֹ שָׂ֣א נָ֤א עֵינֶ֙יךָ֙ וּרְאֵ֔ה מִן־הַמָּק֖וֹם אֲשֶׁר־אַתָּ֣ה שָׁ֑ם צָפֹ֥נָה וָנֶ֖גְבָּה וָקֵ֥דְמָה וָיָֽמָּה׃ |
जब लूत अब्राम से अलग हो गया तब उसके पश्चात् यहोवा ने अब्राम से कहा, “आँख उठाकर जिस स्थान पर तू है वहाँ से उत्तर-दक्षिण, पूर्व-पश्चिम, चारों ओर दृष्टि कर।
लोत से अब्राम के अलग होने के बाद याहवेह ने अब्राम से कहा, “तुम जिस स्थान पर खड़े हो, वहां से चारों ओर देखो.
