Genesis 1:14
God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs to mark seasons, days, and years;

| ثُمَّ أَمَرَ اللهُ: «لِتَكُنْ أَنْوَارٌ فِي قُبَّةِ السَّمَاءِ لِتُفَرِّقَ بَيْنَ النَّهَارِ وَاللَّيْلِ، فَتَكُونَ عَلاَمَاتٍ لِتَحْدِيدِ أَزْمِنَةٍ وَأَيَّامٍ وَسِنِينَ. |
Աստուած ասաց. «Թող լուսատուներ լինեն երկնքի տարածութեան մէջ, որպէսզի լուսաւորեն երկիրը եւ իրարից բաժանեն ցերեկն ու գիշերը: Դրանք թող լինեն, որպէսզի ցոյց տան տարուայ եղանակները, տօնական օրերն ու տարիները,
তাৰ পাছত ঈশ্বৰে ক’লে, “পোহৰ হ’বলৈ আকাশত অনেক জ্যোতিবোৰ হওঁক; সেই পোহৰে ৰাতিৰ পৰা দিনক পৃথক কৰিব। সেইবোৰ বেলেগ বেলেগ ঋতু, দিন আৰু বছৰৰ চিন ৰূপে ব্যৱহাৰ হওঁক।
Sonra Allah dedi: «Qoy göy qübbəsində gecəni gündüzdən ayıran çıraqlar olsun. Onlar işarələri, fəsilləri və günlərlə illəri göstərsin.

পরে ঈশ্বর বললেন, “রাত থেকে দিন কে আলাদা করার জন্য আকাশমণ্ডলের বিতানে নক্ষত্র হোক এবং তারা চিহ্নের মতো হোক, ঋতুর জন্য, রাত এবং সময়ের ও বছরের জন্য হোক;

神说：“天上要有光体，可以分昼夜，作记号，定节令、日子、年岁，

Then God said, “I want a sun, a moon, and many stars to shine in the sky. The sun will shine in the daytime and the moon and stars will shine during the nighttime. By the changes in their appearance they will indicate the various seasons (OR, the times for special celebrations), and will enable people to know when days and years begin.
Than sayd God: let there be lyghtes in ye firmament of heaven to devyde the daye fro the nyghte that they may be vnto sygnes seasons days and yeares.

ઈશ્વરે કહ્યું, “રાત અને દિવસ જુદાં પાડવા સારુ આકાશમાં જ્યોતિઓ થાઓ અને તેઓ ચિહ્નો, ઋતુઓ, દિવસો તથા વર્ષોને અર્થે થાઓ.

फिर परमेश्वर ने कहा, “दिन को रात से अलग करने के लिये आकाश के अन्तर में ज्योतियाँ हों; और वे चिन्हों, और नियत समयों, और दिनों, और वर्षों के कारण हों;
