Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could make alive, most certainly righteousness would have been of the law.

فَهَلْ تُنَاقِضُ الشَّرِيعَةُ وُعُودَ اللهِ؟ حَاشَا! فَلَوْ أُعْطِيَتْ شَرِيعَةٌ قَادِرَةٌ أَنْ تُحْيِيَ، لَكَانَ الْبِرُّ بِالْحَقِيقَةِ عَلَى مَبْدَأِ الشَّرِيعَةِ.

তবে নিয়ম কি ঈশ্বরের প্রতিজ্ঞা কলাপের বিরুদ্ধে? একেবারেই না! ফলে যদি এমন নিয়ম দেওয়া হত, যা জীবন দান করতে পারে, তবে ধার্ম্মিকতা অবশ্য নিয়মমূলক হত।
তাহলে বিধান কি ঈশ্বরের সব প্রতিশ্রুতির বিরোধিতা করেছিল? একেবারেই নয়! কারণ জীবনদানের জন্য যদি কোনো বিধান দেওয়া হত, তাহলে বিধানের দ্বারা অবশ্যই ধার্মিকতা উপলব্ধ হত।

तां क्या इदा मतलब ऐ है की मूसा दी व्यवस्था परमेश्वरे दे बायदे दे खिलाफ है? नी कदी भी नी! क्योंकि अगर व्यवस्था सांझो हमेशा दी जिन्दगी देई सकदी, तां असां इदा पालन करिरी परमेश्वरे सामणे धर्मी होई सकदे थे।

这样,律法是与 神的应许反对吗?断乎不是!若曾传一个能叫人得生的律法,义就诚然本乎律法了。

那麼,法律相反天主的恩許嗎﹖絕對不是。如果立定的法律能賜與人生命,正義就的確是出於法律了。

Zar je dakle Zakon protiv obećanja Božjih? Nipošto! Jer da je dan Zakon koji bi mogao oživljavati, pravednost bi doista proizlazila iz Zakona.
