Ezra 5:8
Be it known to the king that we went into the province of Judah, to the house of the great God, which is being built with great stones and timber is laid in the walls. This work goes on with diligence and prospers in their hands.

| نَوَدُّ أَنْ نُحِيطَكُمْ عِلْماً بِأَنَّنَا ذَهَبْنَا إِلَى بِلاَدِ يَهُوذَا، حَيْثُ مَعْبَدُ الإِلَهِ الْعَظِيمِ، فَوَجَدْنَا أَنَّ الْهَيْكَلَ يُبْنَى بِحِجَارَةٍ عَظِيمَةٍ وَجُدْرَانَهُ تُدْعَمُ بِالْخَشَبِ، وَالْعَمَلَ يَسِيرُ بِأَقْصَى سُرْعَةٍ وَيَتِمُّ إِنْجَازُهُ عَلَى أَيْدِيهِمْ بِنَجَاحٍ بَاهِرٍ. |

মহামান্য সম্রাটের জ্ঞাতার্থে জানাই যে আমরা যিহূদা প্রদেশে মহান ঈশ্বরের মন্দিরে গিয়েছিলাম। আমরা দেখলাম, লোকেরা খুব বড়ো বড়ো পাথর দিয়ে সেটিকে তৈরি করছে এবং দেওয়ালে কাঠ দেওয়া হচ্ছে। কঠোর পরিশ্রমের সঙ্গে কাজটি করা হচ্ছে এবং তাদের নেতৃত্বে কাজটি খুব দ্রুত এগিয়ে চলেছে।

Es sei kund dem Könige, daß wir ins jüdische Land kommen sind zu dem Hause des großen Gottes, welches man bauet mit allerlei Steinen, und Balken leget man in die Wände, und das Werk gehet frisch vonstatten unter ihrer Hand.
