“Therefore tell the house of Israel, ‘The Lord GOD says: “I do not do this for your sake, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you went.

| «لِذَلِكَ فَقُلْ لِبَيْتِ إِسْرَائِيلَ: هَكَذَا قَالَ ٱلسَّيِّدُ ٱلرَّبُّ: لَيْسَ لِأَجْلِكُمْ أَنَا صَانِعٌ يَا بَيْتَ إِسْرَائِيلَ، بَلْ لِأَجْلِ ٱسْمِي ٱلْقُدُّوسِ ٱلَّذِي نَجَّسْتُمُوهُ فِي ٱلْأُمَمِ حَيْثُ جِئْتُمْ. |
| لِذَلِكَ قُلْ لِشَعْبِ إِسْرَائِيلَ: لَيْسَ لأَجْلِكُمْ أَنَا مُوْشِكٌ أَن أَعْمَلَ (عَظَائِمَ) يَاشَعْبَ إِسْرَائِيلَ، بَلْ غَيْرَةً عَلَى اسْمِي الَّذِي دَنَّسْتُمُوهُ بَيْنَ الأُمَمِ الَّتِي تَفَرَّقْتُمْ بَيْنَهَا. |
এই হেতুকে তুমি ইস্ৰায়েল বংশক কোৱা, ‘প্ৰভু যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: হে ইস্ৰায়েল বংশ, মই তোমালোকৰ কাৰণে কাৰ্য নকৰোঁ, কিন্তু তোমালোক যোৱা জাতিবোৰৰ মাজত তোমালোকে অপবিত্ৰ কৰা মোৰ পবিত্ৰ নামৰ কাৰণেহে কৰিম।

Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the lord Jehovah: I do this not for your sake, O house of Israel, but for my holy name, which ye have profaned among the nations where ye went.

Tell the people of Israel that this is what the Lord God says: I'm not doing this for you, people of Israel, but for my reputation for holiness, which you ruined among the nations where you went.
Therfore say vnto the house of Israel, Thus saith ye Lord God, I doe not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy Names sake, which yee polluted among the heathen whither ye went.

Sentähden pitää sinun sanoman Israelin huoneelle: näin sanoo Herra, Herra: en minä sitä tee teidän tähtenne, te Israelin huone, vaan minun pyhän nimeni tähden, jonka te pakanain seassa olette häväisseet, joiden tykö te tulleet olette.
Sentähden sano Israelin heimolle: Näin sanoo Herra, Herra: En tee minä teidän tähtenne, Israelin heimo, sitä minkä teen, vaan oman pyhän nimeni tähden, jonka te olette häväisseet pakanakansain seassa, minne tulittekin.
C'est pourquoi dis à la maison d'Israël: Ainsi parle le Seigneur Yahweh: Ce n'est pas à cause de vous que je le fais, maison d'Israël; c'est pour mon saint nom que vous avez déshonoré, parmi les nations chez lesquelles vous êtes allés.
« C'est pourquoi tu diras à la maison d'Israël: Le Seigneur Yahvé dit: « Je ne fais pas cela à cause de toi, maison d'Israël, mais à cause de mon saint nom, que tu as profané parmi les nations où tu es allé.
C’est pourquoi, dis à la maison d’Israël: Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel: Ce n’est point à cause de vous, maison d’Israël, que je le fais, mais c’est à cause de mon saint nom, que vous avez profané parmi les nations où vous êtes venus.
C'est pourquoi dis à la maison d'Israël: ainsi a dit le Seigneur l'Eternel: je ne [le] fais point à cause de vous, ô maison d'Israël! mais à cause du Nom de ma Sainteté, que vous avez profané parmi les nations au milieu desquelles vous êtes venus.
C’est pour cela que tu diras à la maison d’Israël: Voici ce que dit le Seigneur Dieu: Ce n’est pas à cause de vous, maison d’Israël, que j’agirai, mais c’est à cause de mon nom saint que vous avez souillé parmi les nations chez lesquelles vous êtes entrés.
C’est pourquoi dis à la maison d’Israël: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel: Ce n’est pas à cause de vous que j’agis de la sorte, maison d’Israël; c’est à cause de mon saint nom, que vous avez profané parmi les nations où vous êtes allés.
C’est pourquoi dis à la maison d’Israël: Ainsi parle le Seigneur Yahweh: Ce n’est pas à cause de vous que je le fais, maison d’Israël; c’est pour mon saint nom que vous avez déshonoré, parmi les nations chez lesquelles vous êtes allés.

À cause de cela, dis à la maison d'Israël: Je ne fais point cela à cause de vous, dit le Seigneur, mais à cause de mon saint nom, que vous avez profané chez les nations où vous êtes allés.
Aussi, dis à la maison d’Israël: Ainsi parle le Seigneur Dieu: Ce n’est pas à cause de vous que j’agis, maison d’Israël, mais bien pour mon saint nom, que vous avez déconsidéré parmi les nations où vous êtes venus.
Deshalb sprich so zum Hause Israel: So spricht der Herr, der Herr: 'Haus Israel, um euretwillen tu ich's nicht, nein, nur um meines heiligen Namens willen, den ihr entweiht habt bei der Heidenwelt, zu der ihr kamt.

Διά τούτο ειπέ προς τον οίκον Ισραήλ, Ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Εγώ δεν κάμνω τούτο ένεκεν υμών, οίκος Ισραήλ, αλλ' ένεκεν του αγίου ονόματός μου, το οποίον εβεβηλώσατε μεταξύ των εθνών, εις τα οποία ήλθετε.
διὰ τοῦτο εἰπὸν τῷ οἴκῳ Ισραηλ τάδε λέγει κύριος οὐχ ὑμῖν ἐγὼ ποιῶ οἶκος Ισραηλ ἀλλ’ ἢ διὰ τὸ ὄνομά μου τὸ ἅγιον ὃ ἐβεβηλώσατε ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν οὗ εἰσήλθετε ἐκεῖ

Vậy nên hãy nói cùng nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên rằng: Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Hỡi nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên, ấy chẳng phải vì cớ các ngươi mà ta làm cách ấy, nhưng vì cớ danh thánh ta mà các ngươi đã phạm trong các dân, là nơi các ngươi đã đi đến.
Vì thế, hãy truyền cho dân tộc Ít-ra-ên sứ điệp của Chúa Hằng Hữu Chí Cao: Chúa Hằng Hữu phán: Hỡi nhà Ít-ra-ên, Ta đem các ngươi về quê hương không phải vì các ngươi xứng đáng. Ta làm vậy để bảo vệ Danh Thánh Ta mà các ngươi đã làm lu mờ giữa các dân.
