and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I am against you, Sidon. I will be glorified among you. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I have executed judgments in her, and am sanctified in her.

| وَقُلْ هَذَا مَا يُعْلِنُهُ السَّيِّدُ الرَّبُّ: هَا أَنَا أَنْقَلِبُ عَلَيْكِ يَا صيْدُونُ وَأَتَجَلَّى بِمَجْدِي فِيكِ فَيُدْرِكُ سُكَّانُكِ أَنِّي أَنَا الرَّبُّ حِينَ أُنَفِّذُ فِيكِ أَحْكَاماً وَأَتَقَدَّسُ فِي وَسَطِكِ. |
আৰু কোৱা, প্ৰভু যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে, হে চীদোন! মই তোমাৰ বিপক্ষ; মই তোমাৰ মাজত গৌৰৱান্বিত হ’ম, যেতিয়া মই তাক দণ্ড দিম আৰু তাৰ মাজত পবিত্ৰীকৃত হ’ম। তেতিয়া মই যে পবিত্র, সেয়ে তোমাত প্রকাশিত হ’ম!

বল, ‘প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, হে সীদোন, দেখ, আমি তোমার বিরুদ্ধে; আমি তোমার মধ্যে গৌরবান্বিত হব; তাতে লোকেরা জানবে যে, আমিই সদাপ্রভু, যখন আমি তোমার মধ্যে বিচার নিষ্পন্ন করব। আমি আমার পবিত্রতা তোমাকে দেখাব!

These are the words of the Lord: See, I am against you, O Zidon; and I will get glory for myself in you: and they will be certain that I am the Lord, when I send my punishments on her, and I will be seen to be holy in her.
and say, Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I am against thee, O Sidon; and I will be glorified in thee; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord, when I have wrought judgments in thee, and I will be sanctified in thee.
and say, Thus says the Lord; Behold, I am against you, O Sidon; and I will be glorified in you; and you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have wrought judgements in you, and I will be sanctified in you.
And you shall say: Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, Sidon, and I will be glorified in your midst. And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I will have executed judgments in her, and when I will have been sanctified in her.
and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, Zidon, and I will be glorified in the midst of thee; and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be hallowed in her.
And shalt say: Thus saith the Lord God: Behold I come against thee, Sidon, and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall execute judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.
Tell them this is what the Lord God says: Watch out, Sidon, for I'm condemning you, and I will be vindicated by what happens to you. People will know that I am the Lord when I punish her and show my holy character through her experience.
And say, Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I come against thee, O Zidon, and I will be glorified in the mids of thee: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall haue executed iudgements in her, and shalbe sanctified in her.

Give [the people of Sidon] this message from [me], Yahweh the Lord: ‘I am your enemy, [you people of] Sidon, and by what I do to you, I will reveal that I am very great/glorious. Tu diras: Ainsi parle le Seigneur Dieu: Voici que je m’en prends à toi, Sidon, je veux me rendre glorieux au milieu de toi. L’On saura que je suis l’Éternel, quand je lui infligerai des châtiments et que j’y manifesterai ma sainteté.
Und sprich: So spricht der Herr, der Herr: 'Ich will an dich, du Sidon; gekränkte Ehre räche ich an dir, damit man innewerde: Ich bin der Herr; an ihm vollziehe ich die Strafgerichte und zeige mich an ihm als Heiligen.
und sprich: So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Siehe, ich will an dich, Zidon, und will mich verherrlichen in deiner Mitte; und sie werden wissen, daß ich Jehova bin, wenn ich Gerichte an ihm übe und mich an ihm heilige [d. h. heilig erweise; so auch v 25]

und sprich: So spricht Gott, der HERR: Siehe, ich will an dich, Zidon, und will mich verherrlichen in deiner Mitte, daß man erfahre, daß ich der HERR bin, wenn ich das Urteil an ihr vollstrecken und mich an ihr heilig erweisen werde.
