Exodus 5:8
You shall require from them the number of the bricks which they made before. You shall not diminish anything of it, for they are idle. Therefore they cry, saying, ‘Let’s go and sacrifice to our God.’

| وَطَالِبُوهُمْ بِإِنْتَاجِ نَفْسِ كَمِّيَّةِ اللِّبْنِ السَّابِقَةِ. لاَ تُنْقِصُوهَا فَإِنَّهُمْ كُسَالَى، لِذَلِكَ يَصْرُخُونَ قَائِلِينَ: دَعْنَا نَذْهَبُ وَنَذْبَحُ لإِلَهِنَا. |
որ, որքան առաջ էին նրանք աղիւս շինում, նոյնքան էլ շինեն այսուհետեւ. բան չպակասեցնէ՛ք: Անգործ մնալու պատճառով է, որ նրանք աղաղակում են ու ասում. «Գնանք, զոհ մատուցենք մեր Աստծուն»:

Ancaq indiyə qədər onların üzərlərinə qoyduğunuz gündəlik kərpic sayını azaltmayın. Çünki onlar tənbəldirlər və buna görə də “gedək Allahımıza qurban gətirək” deyib fəryad edirlər.

Но колкото тухли са правили до сега, същото число изисквайте от тях; с нищо да го не намалите; защото остават без работа и затова викат, казвайки: Нека отидем да принесем жертва на нашия Бог.

他们素常做砖的数目，你们仍旧向他们要，一点不可减少；因为他们是懒惰的，所以呼求说：‘容我们去祭祀我们的 神。’

But require them to make the same number of bricks that they did before. Do not decrease the number at all. They (are lazy/do not have enough work to do). That is the reason they are asking me to let them go [into the desert] to offer sacrifices to their god.

Du reste, la quantité de briques qu’ils faisaient précédemment, imposez-la leur encore, n’en rabattez rien. Car ils sont désœuvrés, voilà pourquoi ils profèrent ces clameurs: ‘Allons sacrifier à notre Dieu!’

Und das Maß der Ziegel, die sie gestern und ehegestern machten, leget ihnen auf, nehmet nichts weg davon. Lässig sind sie, deshalb schreien sie und sagen: Lasset uns gehen, daß wir unserem Gotte opfern.

καὶ τὴν σύνταξιν τῆς πλινθείας ἧς αὐτοὶ ποιοῦσιν καθ’ ἑκάστην ἡμέραν ἐπιβαλεῖς αὐτοῖς οὐκ ἀφελεῖς οὐδέν σχολάζουσιν γάρ διὰ τοῦτο κεκράγασιν λέγοντες πορευθῶμεν καὶ θύσωμεν τῷ θεῷ ἡμῶν
વળી ધ્યાન રાખજો કે, અત્યાર સુધી તેઓ જેટલી ઈંટો બનાવતા આવ્યા છે એમાં ઘટાડો થવો જોઈએ નહિ. હવે એ લોકો આળસુ થઈ ગયા છે. તેથી બૂમો પાડે છે કે, અમને અમારા ઈશ્વરને યજ્ઞો કરવા જવા દો.
