Let them judge the people at all times. It shall be that every great matter they shall bring to you, but every small matter they shall judge themselves. So shall it be easier for you, and they shall share the load with you.

| فَيَقْضُونَ لِلشَّعْبِ فِي الدَعَاوَى الصَّغِيرَةِ فِي كُلِّ حِينٍ. أَمَّا الْقَضَايَا الْمُسْتَعْصِيَةُ فَيَرْفَعُونَهَا إِلَيْكَ، فَيُخَفِّفُ ذَلِكَ عَنْكَ، إذْ يُشَارِكُونَكَ فِي حَمْلِ الْعِبْءِ. |

সবসময় এদেরই লোকজনের বিচারক হয়ে থাকতে দিয়ো, কিন্তু প্রত্যেকটি দুরূহ মামলা তাদের তোমার কাছে আনতে দিয়ো; সহজ মামলাগুলির নিষ্পত্তি তারা নিজেরাই করে নিতে পারবে। এতে তোমার বোঝা হালকা হয়ে যাবে, কারণ তারা তোমার সঙ্গে তা ভাগাভাগি করে নেবে।

और वे सब समय इन लोगों का न्याय किया करें; और सब बड़े-बड़े मुकद्दमों को तो तेरे पास ले आया करें, और छोटे-छोटे मुकद्दमों का न्याय आप ही किया करें; तब तेरा बोझ हलका होगा, क्योंकि इस बोझ को वे भी तेरे साथ उठाएँगे।
