He took off their chariot wheels, and they drove them heavily; so that the Egyptians said, “Let’s flee from the face of Israel, for the LORD fights for them against the Egyptians!”

| فَجَعَلَ عَجَلاتِ مَرْكَبَاتِهِمْ تَتَخَلَّعُ. فَطَفِقُوا يَجُرُّونَهَا بِمَشَقَّةٍ حَتَّى قَالَ الْمِصْرِيُّونَ: «لِنَهْرُبْ مِنَ الإِسْرَائِيلِيِّينَ، لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ يُحَارِبُ عَنْهُمْ ضِدَّنَا». |

યહોવાહે તેઓના રથનાં પૈડાં જમીનમાં એવા ખુંપાવી દીધાં કે તે ફરી શકતાં ન હતાં. આથી મિસરના સૈનિકો બૂમ પાડવા લાગ્યા, “આ તો યહોવાહ પોતે ઇઝરાયલીઓને પક્ષે આપણી સામે લડી રહ્યા છે. ચાલો, આપણે પાછા જતા રહીએ.”
