The LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, to lead them on their way, and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light, that they might go by day and by night:

Աստուած ցերեկը նրանց առաջնորդում էր ամպի սիւնով, որպէսզի ճանապարհ ցոյց տայ նրանց, իսկ գիշերը՝ հրէ սիւնով, որպէսզի գիշեր-ցերեկ նրանք ուղեցոյց ունենան:
তেওঁলোকে দিনে-ৰাতিয়ে যাত্রা কৰিবলৈ যিহোৱাই দিনত তেওঁলোকক মেঘ-স্তম্ভ, আৰু ৰাতি পোহৰ দিবলৈ অগ্নি-স্তম্ভৰে তেওঁলোকৰ আগে আগে গৈছিল।

और यहोवा उन्हें दिन को मार्ग दिखाने के लिये बादल के खम्भे में, और रात को उजियाला देने के लिये आग के खम्भे में होकर उनके आगे-आगे चला करता था, जिससे वे रात और दिन दोनों में चल सके।
याहवेह उन्हें मार्ग दिखाकर उनके आगे-आगे चले; दिन में बादल तथा रात में आग की रोशनी देकर उनको चलाया, ताकि वे दिन में तथा रात में भी आराम से चल सकें.

Pada waktu siang TUHAN berjalan di depan mereka dalam tiang awan dan pada waktu malam Ia mendahului mereka dalam tiang api untuk menunjukkan jalan. Dengan demikian mereka dapat berjalan siang dan malam.

ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹಗಲು ಹೊತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದಾರಿತೋರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೇಘಸ್ತಂಭದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ರಾತ್ರಿವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಕುಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಗ್ನಿಸ್ತಂಭದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದು ಅವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತಿದ್ದನು. ಈ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಹಗಲಿರುಳು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡಿದರು.
