| فَقَالَ الْمَلِكُ أَحَشْوِيرُوشُ لِلْمَلِكَةِ أَسْتِيرَ وَلِمُرْدَخَايَ الْيَهُودِيِّ: «لَقَدْ أَعْطَيْتُ مُمْتَلَكَاتِ هَامَانَ لأَسْتِيرَ، وَصَلَبْتُهُ هُوَ عَلَى خَشَبَةٍ، لأَنَّهُ حَاوَلَ أَنْ يَمُسَّ الْيَهُودَ بِسُوءٍ. |

καὶ εἶπεν ὁ βασιλεὺς πρὸς Εσθηρ εἰ πάντα τὰ ὑπάρχοντα Αμαν ἔδωκα καὶ ἐχαρισάμην σοι καὶ αὐτὸν ἐκρέμασα ἐπὶ ξύλου ὅτι τὰς χεῖρας ἐπήνεγκε τοῖς Ιουδαίοις τί ἔτι ἐπιζητεῖς
ત્યારે અહાશ્વેરોશ રાજાએ યહૂદી મોર્દખાય તથા એસ્તેર રાણીને કહ્યું, “જુઓ, હામાનનાં ઘરબાર મેં એસ્તેરને સોંપ્યાં છે તથા તેને તેઓએ ફાંસી પર લટકાવ્યો છે, કેમ કે તેણે યહૂદીઓનો નાશ કરવાનો પ્રયત્ન કર્યો હતો.
