Deuteronomy 29:23
that all of its land is sulfur, salt, and burning, that it is not sown, does not produce, nor does any grass grow in it, like the overthrow of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath.
“Tërë toka është squfur, kripë, zjarrmi; nuk është mbjellë, nuk prodhon më asgjë dhe në të nuk rritet asnjë bar, ashtu si pas shkatërrimit të Sodomës, të Gomorrës, të Admahut dhe të Tseboimit, që Zoti shkatërroi gjatë zemërimit dhe tërbimit të tij”.
| كِبْرِيتٌ وَمِلْحٌ، كُلُّ أَرْضِهَا حَرِيقٌ، لَا تُزْرَعُ وَلَا تُنْبِتُ وَلَا يَطْلُعُ فِيهَا عُشْبٌ مَّا، كَٱنْقِلَابِ سَدُومَ وَعَمُورَةَ وَأَدْمَةَ وَصَبُويِيمَ، ٱلَّتِي قَلَبَهَا ٱلرَّبُّ بِغَضَبِهِ وَسَخَطِهِ. |
| إِذْ تُصْبِحُ جَمِيعُ الأَرْضِ كِبْرِيتاً، مُحْتَرِقَةً لاَ زَرْعَ فِيهَا وَلاَ نَبَاتَ وَلاَ عُشْبَ، وَكَأَنَّهَا انْقَلَبَتْ كَمَا جَرَى لِسَدُومَ وَعَمُورَةَ وَأَدْمَةَ وَصَبُوِييمَ، الَّتِي قَلَبَهَا الرَّبُّ مِنْ جَرَّاءِ غَضَبِهِ وَسَخَطِهِ. |
তেওঁলোকে দেখা পাব সমগ্র দেশ জ্বলন্ত গন্ধক আৰু লোণেৰে পুৰি গৈছে; দেশত একোকে সিঁচিব নোৱাৰিব আৰু কোনো ফল উৎপন্ন নহ’ব; এনেকি ঘাঁহ-বন, শাক-পাচলিও গজি নুঠিব। এই দেশৰ অৱস্থা চদোম, ঘমোৰা, অদ্মা, আৰু চবোয়ীম নগৰৰ দৰে হ’ব, যি নগৰবোৰক যিহোৱাই খং আৰু ক্রোধত ক্রোধাম্বিত হৈ ধ্বংস কৰি দিছিল।
Bütün torpaq yanacaq, kükürd və duzla örtüləcək, toxum əkilməyəcək, cücərti görünməyəcək, ot bitməyəcək. Ölkə Rəbbin qızğın qəzəbi ilə yerlə yeksan etdiyi Sodom, Homorra, Adma və Sevoyim kimi viran olacaq.
এবং সদাপ্রভু নিজের রাগে ও ক্রোধে যে সদোম, ঘমোরা, অদমা ও সবোয়িম শহর উৎপন্ন করেছিলেন, তার মত এই দেশের সব ভূমি গন্ধক, জলন্ত লবণে পরিপূর্ণ হয়েছে, তাতে কিছুই বোনা যায় না ও তা ফল উৎপন্ন করে না ও তাতে কোনো তৃণ হয় না, এ সব যখন দেখবে; তখন তারা বলবে,
সমগ্র দেশটি নুন আর গন্ধকে পুড়ে পড়ে থাকবে—তাতে কোনও গাছ লাগানো যাবে না, কোনও বীজ অঙ্কুরিত হবে না, কোনও গাছপালা জন্মাবে না। এই দেশের অবস্থা হবে সদোম, ঘমোরা, অদ্মা ও সবোয়িমের মতো, যেগুলি সদাপ্রভু তাঁর ভয়ংকর ক্রোধে জ্বলে উঠে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছিলেন।
Цялата земя е изгорена със сяра и със сол, та нито се сее нито произраства, и никаква трева не никне на нея, както при съсипването на Содом и Гомор, на Адам и Севоим, които Господ съсипа в гнева Си и в яростта Си.

Gamsunga cheng jousen kat-song leh chilhang abah diu, muchi tuna lou mun jouse imacha keh talou ding, Sodom leh Gomorrah banga kile khup jenga, Admah leh Zeboiim banga Pakaiyin alunghan teng alekhup del tobang soh ding ahi.
又看见遍地有硫磺，有盐卤，有火迹，没有耕种，没有出产，连草都不生长—好像耶和华在忿怒中所倾覆的所多玛、蛾摩拉、押玛、洗扁一样—

'Sva je zemlja njegova samo sumpor i sol; niti se što sije niti što klija; nikakva travka na njoj ne raste; jednaka je srušenoj Sodomi i Gomori, Admi i Sebojimu, što ih Jahve sruši u svojoj ljutini i gnjevu.'
Sirou a solí vypálenou všecku tu zemi, a že se nemůž síti, ani co vzcházeti, ani jaké byliny růsti na ní, rovně jako na místě, kdež jest podvrácena Sodoma a Gomora, Adama a Seboim, kteréž podvrátil Hospodin v hněvě svém a v prchlivosti své, )

Svovl og Salt, hele Landet afsvedet, så det ikke kan tilsåes og ingen Afgrøde give, og ingen Urter kan gro deri, som dengang Sodoma og Gomorra, Adma og Zebojim blev ødelagt, da HERREN lod dem gå under i sin Vrede og Harme, da skal de spørge,
Svovl og Salt, Brand over hele Landet, saa at det ikke kan besaas, ej heller give Grøde, og ingen Urt kan opvokse derudi, ligesom Sodoma og Gomorra, Adma og Zeboim bleve omkastede, hvilke Herren omkastede i sin Vrede og i sin Hastighed;

Dat zijn ganse aarde zij zwavel en zout der verbranding; die niet bezaaid zal zijn, en geen spruit zal voortgebracht hebben, noch enig kruid daarin zal opgekomen zijn; gelijk de omkering van Sodom en Gomorra, Adama en Zeboim, die de HEERE heeft omgekeerd in Zijn toorn en in Zijn grimmigheid;
Heel het land is zwavel en zout en een brandende puinhoop; niets kan er worden gezaaid, niets schiet er op en geen kruid kan er groeien; het is een verwoesting als van Sodoma en Gomorra, Adma en Seboïm, die Jahweh in zijn gramschap en woede ten onderste boven gekeerd heeft.
Dat zijn ganse aarde zij zwavel en zout der verbranding; die niet bezaaid zal zijn, en geen spruit zal voortgebracht hebben, noch enig kruid daarin zal opgekomen zijn; gelijk de omkering van Sodom en Gomorra, Adama en Zeboim, die de HEERE heeft omgekeerd in Zijn toorn en in Zijn grimmigheid;
The whole land of it is brimstone, and salt, a burning. It is not sown, nor bears, nor any grass grows in it, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which Jehovah overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath,

[and that] the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, [and] a burning, [that] it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which Jehovah overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:
All its soil will be a burning waste of sulfur and salt, unsown and unproductive, with no plant growing on it, just like the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which the LORD overthrew in His fierce anger.
And that all the land is a salt and smoking waste, not planted or giving fruit or clothed with grass, but wasted like Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, on which the Lord sent destruction in the heat of his wrath:

Burning it with brimstone, and the heat of salt, so that it cannot be sown any more, nor any green thing grow therein, after the example of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrha, Adama and Seboim, which the Lord destroyed in his wrath and indignation:
The whole country will be burning wasteland of sulfur and salt. Nothing is sown; it's totally unproductive; no plant grows there—just like the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which the Lord destroyed in his furious anger.
(For all that land shall burne with brimstone and salt: it shall not be sowen, nor bring forth, nor any grasse shall growe therein, like as in the ouerthrowing of Sodom, and Gomorah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the Lord ouerthrewe in his wrath and in his anger)

The whole land is burned [with] brimstone and salt, it is not sown, nor does it shoot up, nor does any herb go up on it there, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboim, which YHWH overturned in His anger and in His fury.

brimstone and salt burning up all the land thereof, it shall not be sown neither shall it shoot forth neither shall there come up thereon any herbage, —like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which Yahweh overthrow in his anger and in his wrath:
[is] sulfur And salt a burning waste all land its not it is sown and not it causes to grow and not it comes up in it any vegetation like [the] overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah Admah (and Zeboiim *Qk) which he overthrew Yahweh in anger his and in rage his.

They will see that all your land has been ruined by burning sulfur and salt. Nothing will have been planted. Not even weeds will grow there. Your land will resemble Sodom and Gomorrah [cities], and Admah and Zeboiim [cities], which Yahweh destroyed when he was very angry [DOU] [with the people who lived there].
and when they see that the whole land has become sulfur and burning salt, where nothing is sown or bears fruit, where no vegetation grows, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboyim, that Yahweh destroyed in his anger and wrath—

Että hän on polttanut koko heidän maansa tulikivellä ja suolalla, niin ettei sitä kylvetä eikä se vihota, eikä myös yhtäkään ruohoa käy hänestä ylös, niinkuin Sodoma, Gomorra, Adama ja Zeboim olivat kukistetut maahan, jotka Herra vihassansa ja hirmuisuudessansa ylösalaisin kukisti;

[et] que tout son sol n’est que soufre et sel, – un embrasement (qu’il n’est pas semé, et qu’il ne fait rien germer, et qu’aucune herbe n’y pousse), comme la subversion de Sodome et de Gomorrhe, d’Adma et de Tseboïm, que l’Éternel détruisit dans sa colère et dans sa fureur,
Et que toute la terre de ce pays-là ne sera que soufre, que sel, et qu'embrasement, qu'elle ne sera point semée, et qu'elle ne fera rien germer, et que nulle herbe n'en sortira, ainsi qu'en la subversion de Sodome, et de Gomorrhe, et d'Adma, et de Tséboïm, lesquelles l'Eternel détruisit en sa colère et en sa fureur;
voyant qu’il l’aura consumé par le soufre et par un sel brûlant, de sorte qu’on n’y jette plus aucune semence, et qu’il n’y puisse plus pousser aucune verdure, et qu’il y renouvelle une image de la ruine de Sodome et de Gomorrhe, d’Adama et de Séboïm, que le Seigneur a détruites dans sa colère et dans sa fureur;
de l’embrasement de toute la contrée, où il n’y aura ni semence, ni produit, ni aucune herbe qui croisse, comme au bouleversement de Sodome, de Gomorrhe, d’Adma et de Tseboïm, que l’Éternel détruisit dans sa colère et dans sa fureur,
du soufre et du sel, de l’embrasement de toute cette terre, qui ne sera pas ensemencée, ne produira pas de fruits, sur laquelle ne croîtra aucune herbe, comme il arriva au bouleversement de Sodome, de Gomorrhe, d’Adama et de Seboïm, que Yahweh bouleversa dans sa colère et dans sa fureur, —
Lorsque toute la terre de ce pays ne sera que soufre et sel, et qu'embrasement, qu'elle ne sera point ensemencée, qu'elle ne fera rien germer, et que nulle herbe n'y poussera, comme après la subversion de Sodome, de Gomorrhe, d'Adma et de Tséboïm, que l'Éternel détruisit dans sa colère et dans son indignation, -
du soufre et du sel et de l'embrasement de tout son sol qui ne sera plus ensemencé, ne produira plus, où nulle plante ne croîtra, d'un bouleversement pareil à celui de Sodome et de Gomorrhe, d'Adema et de Tseboïm que l'Éternel bouleversa dans sa colère et sa fureur;

und wie er dieses ganze Land mit Schwefel und Salz verbrannt hat, daß es nicht besät werden kann und nichts hervorbringt, daß nichts Grünes darauf wächst, gleichwie Sodom, Gomorra, Adama und Zeboim umgekehrt worden sind, welche der HERR in seinem Zorn und Grimm umgekehrt hat

વળી સદોમ, ગમોરા, આદમા અને સબોઈમ જેઓનો સંહાર યહોવાહે પોતાના કોપથી તથા રોષથી કર્યો તેઓના નાશની પેઠે આખો દેશ ગંધક, ખારરૂપ તથા બળતો થયો છે કે, જેમાં કંઈ વવાતું નથી, વળી કંઈ નીપજતું નથી, તેમ જ તેમાં કંઈ ઘાસ ઊગતું નથી તે જયારે જોશે.

और यह भी देखकर कि इसकी सब भूमि गन्धक और लोन से भर गई है, और यहाँ तक जल गई है कि इसमें न कुछ बोया जाता, और न कुछ जम सकता, और न घास उगती है, वरन् सदोम और गमोरा, अदमा और सबोयीम के समान हो गया है जिन्हें यहोवा ने अपने कोप और जलजलाहट में उलट दिया था;
पूरा देश गंधक और लवण में परिणत हो चुका है. यह अब प्रज्वलित उजाड़ क्षेत्र रह गया है. न इसमें रोपण किया जा सकता है, न इसमें किसी प्रकार की उपज की संभावना है, और न इस भूमि पर घास ही उगती है, ठीक सोदोम और अमोराह, अदमाह और ज़ेबोईम के विध्वंस के समान, जिनका विनाश याहवेह ने अपने कोप और आक्रोश में किया था.

ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳವರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇಶವು ಯಾವ ವ್ಯವಸಾಯವೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ, ಹುಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಬೆಳೆಯದೆ, ಹಾಳುಬಿದ್ದಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವರು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಕೋಪ ಮತ್ತು ರೋಷದಿಂದ ಕೆಡವಿದ ಸೊದೋಮ್ ಮತ್ತು ಗೊಮೋರ, ಅದ್ಮಾ ಮತ್ತು ಚೆಬೋಯಿಮ್ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಂತೆ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಗಂಧಕ ಉಪ್ಪುಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು,

യഹോവ ഈ ദേശത്തോടു ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തതു എന്തു? ഈ മഹാക്രോധാഗ്നിയുടെ കാരണം എന്തു എന്നു സകലജാതികളും ചോദിക്കും.
ദേശംമുഴുവനും ഉപ്പും ഗന്ധകവും കത്തുന്ന ദേശമാകും. അവിടെ വിതയും വിളവും ഇല്ലാതെയും ഒന്നും മുളച്ചുവരാതെയും ഇരിക്കും. അവ, യഹോവ തന്റെ ഉഗ്രകോപത്തിൽ മറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞ സൊദോം, ഗൊമോറാ, ആദ്മാ, സെബോയീം എന്നീ പട്ടണങ്ങൾപോലെയാകും.
येथील भूमी गंधक आणि खार यांच्यामुळे जळून वैराण होईल. तिच्यात गवताचे पाते देखील उगवणार नाही. सदोम, गमोरा, अदमा व सबोयिम ही शहरे परमेश्वराच्या कोपाने उद्ध्वस्त झाली तसेच या देशाचे होईल.
