Deuteronomy 23:18
You shall not bring the hire of a prostitute, or the wages of a male prostitute, into the house of the LORD your God for any vow; for both of these are an abomination to the LORD your God.
Në shtëpinë e Zotit, Perëndisë tënd, nuk do të çosh shpërblimin e një kurve as çmimin e një qeni, për asnjë kusht, sepse këto dy gjëra janë një ndyrësi për Zotin, Perëndinë tënd.
| لَا تُدْخِلْ أُجْرَةَ زَانِيَةٍ وَلَا ثَمَنَ كَلْبٍ إِلَى بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكَ عَنْ نَذْرٍ مَّا، لِأَنَّهُمَا كِلَيْهِمَا رِجْسٌ لَدَى ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكَ. |
| لاَ تَأْتُوا بِتَقْدِمَةِ نَذْرٍ مَا إِلَى بَيْتِ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ مِنْ مَكْسَبِ زَانِيَةٍ أَوْ مَأْبُونٍ، لأَنَّ كِلَيْهِمَا رِجْسٌ أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ. |
পুৰষ হওঁক বা মহিলাই হওঁক, যি জনে বেশ্যাৰ জীৱন কটায়, তেওঁৰ উপার্জনৰ ধন কোনো সঙ্কল্প-সিদ্ধিৰ অৰ্থে আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ গৃহলৈ নানিব; কাৰণ সেই ধৰণৰ পুৰুষ আৰু মহিলাক আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই ঘৃণা কৰে।

কোনো প্রতিজ্ঞার জন্য মহিলা কিংবা পুরুষ বেশ্যার উপার্জিত আয় তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর গৃহে আনবে না, কারণ সে উভয়ই তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর কাছে ঘৃণার্হ।
মানত পূরণের জন্য কোনো স্ত্রীলোক বেশ্যা কিংবা পুরুষ বেশ্যার উপার্জন তোমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর গৃহে নিয়ে আসবে না, কারণ তোমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু উভয়কেই ঘৃণা করেন।

娼妓所得的钱，或娈童所得的价，你不可带入耶和华—你 神的殿还愿，因为这两样都是耶和华—你 神所憎恶的。

तू वेश्यापन की कमाई या कुत्ते की कमाई किसी मन्नत को पूरी करने के लिये अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा के घर में न लाना; क्योंकि तेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा के समीप ये दोनों की दोनों कमाई घृणित कर्म है।
तुम याहवेह, अपने परमेश्वर को न तो वेश्यावृत्ति का वेतन भेंट करोगे और न ही पुरुष वेश्या द्वारा कमाई गई राशि को मन्नत की भेंट स्वरूप अर्पित करोगे. ये दोनों ही याहवेह, तुम्हारे परमेश्वर की दृष्टि में घृणित हैं.
