Deuteronomy 15:11
For the poor will never cease out of the land. Therefore I command you to surely open your hand to your brother, to your needy, and to your poor, in your land.
Sepse nevojtarët nuk do të mungojnë kurrë në vend, prandaj unë po të jap këtë urdhërim tënd dhe të them: “Hapja me bujari dorën tënde vëllait tënd, të varfërit tënd dhe nevojtarit në vendin tuaj”.
| لِأَنَّهُ لَا تُفْقَدُ ٱلْفُقَرَاءُ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ. لِذَلِكَ أَنَا أُوصِيكَ قَائِلًا: ٱفْتَحْ يَدَكَ لِأَخِيكَ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ وَٱلْفَقِيرِ فِي أَرْضِكَ. |
| فَالأَرْضُ لَنْ تَخْلُوَ أَبَداً مِنَ الْفُقَرَاءِ، لِهَذَا أُوصِيكُمْ أَنْ تَسْخُوا عَلَى أَخِيكُمُ الْمِسْكِينِ وَالْفَقِيرِ الْمُقِيمِ فِي أَرْضِكُمْ. |
কিয়নো দুখীয়া মানুহ দেশৰ পৰা আতৰ নহ’ৱ, এই কাৰণে মই আপোনাক এই আজ্ঞা দিছোঁ, যে, আপুনি নিজৰ দেশত থকা দুখীয়া আৰু দৰিদ্ৰ ভাইলৈ হাত মুকলি কৰি ৰাখিব।

কারণ তোমার দেশের মধ্যে গরিবের অভাব হবে না; অতএব আমি তোমাকে এই আদেশ দিচ্ছি, তুমি নিজের দেশে তোমার ভাইয়ের প্রতি, তোমার দুঃখী ও দীনহীনের প্রতি, তোমার হাত অবশ্য খুলে রাখবে।
দেশের মধ্যে সবসময়ই গরিব মানুষজন থাকবে। সেইজন্য আমি তোমাদের এই আদেশ দিচ্ছি যে, তোমাদের দেশে যেসব ইস্রায়েলী ভাই গরিব এবং অভাবী তাদের প্রতি তোমাদের হাত খোলা রাখবে।

οὐ γὰρ μὴ ἐκλίπῃ ἐνδεὴς ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς διὰ τοῦτο ἐγώ σοι ἐντέλλομαι ποιεῖν τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο λέγων ἀνοίγων ἀνοίξεις τὰς χεῖράς σου τῷ ἀδελφῷ σου τῷ πένητι καὶ τῷ ἐπιδεομένῳ τῷ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς σου
કેમ કે દેશમાંથી ગરીબો કદી ખૂટશે નહિ તેથી હું તમને આજ્ઞા કરું છું કે, તમારે તમારા દેશમાં તમારા ભાઈ પ્રત્યે જરૂરિયાતમંદવાળા પ્રત્યે તથા ગરીબ પ્રત્યે ઉદારતા બતાવવી.

तेरे देश में दरिद्र तो सदा पाए जाएँगे, इसलिए मैं तुझे यह आज्ञा देता हूँ कि तू अपने देश में अपने दीन-दरिद्र भाइयों को अपना हाथ ढीला करके अवश्य दान देना।
देश में गरीबों का अस्तित्व तो कभी समाप्त ही न होगा; इसलिये मेरा आदेश तुम्हारे लिए यह है, तुम अपने इस्राएली भाई के प्रति पूरी तरह से उदार भाव दिखाओगे; वह भाई, जो तुम्हारे देश में गरीब और साधन विहीन है.

Di kalangan orang Israel selalu akan terdapat beberapa orang yang miskin dan berkekurangan. Sebab itu saya memerintahkan kamu untuk bermurah hati kepada mereka."
Sebab orang-orang miskin tidak hentinya akan ada di dalam negeri itu; itulah sebabnya aku memberi perintah kepadamu, demikian: Haruslah engkau membuka tangan lebar-lebar bagi saudaramu, yang tertindas dan yang miskin di negerimu."
Orang miskin akan selalu ada di negerimu. Itu sebabnya saya perintahkan kepada kalian: Haruslah kamu menerima sesamamu yang miskin dan berkekurangan dengan tangan terbuka.”
