Deuteronomy 14:21
You shall not eat of anything that dies of itself. You may give it to the foreigner living among you who is within your gates, that he may eat it; or you may sell it to a foreigner; for you are a holy people to the LORD your God. You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.
Nuk do të hani asnjë kafshë që ka ngordhur në mënyrë të natyrshme; mund t’ua jepni të huajve që janë brenda portave tuaja që t’i hanë ose mund t’ua shisni një të huaji, sepse ti je një popull që i je shenjtëruar Zotit, Perëndisë tënd. Nuk do ta gatuash kecin bashkë në qumështin e nënes së tij.

মরে পড়ে থাকা কোনো প্রাণী তোমরা খাবে না। তোমাদের নগরে বসবাস করা অন্য জাতির কোনো লোককে তোমরা সেটি দিয়ে দিতে পারবে এবং সে তা খেতে পারবে, কিংবা তোমরা কোনো বিদেশির কাছে সেটি বিক্রি করে দিতে পারবে। কিন্তু তোমরা তোমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু কাছে পবিত্র প্রজা। ছাগলছানার মাংস তার মায়ের দুধে রান্না করবে না।
Никаква мърша да не ядете; (на чужденеца, който е отвътре портите ти, можеш да я даваш да я яде, или да я продаваш на чужденец); защото вие сте люде свети на Господа вашия Бог. Да не вариш яре в млякото на майка му.
