Then the magicians, the enchanters, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers came in; and I told them the dream, but they did not make known to me its interpretation.

तब ज्योतिषी, तांत्रिक, कसदी और भावी बतानेवाले भीतर आए, और मैंने उनको अपना स्वप्न बताया, परन्तु वे उसका अर्थ न बता सके।

ಆಗ ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರರು, ಜೋತಿಷ್ಯರು, ಪಂಡಿತರು, ಶಕುನಗಾರರು ಒಳಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ನಾನು ಕನಸನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
“ಜೋಯಿಸರು, ಮಂತ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು, ಪಂಡಿತರು, ಶಾಕುನಿಕರು, ನನ್ನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ನಾನು ಆ ಕನಸನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಲು ಅವರು ಅದರ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಲಾರದೆ ಹೋದರು.
