حِينَئِذٍ انْتَابَتِ الْحَيْرَةُ دَانِيآلَ الْمَدْعُو بَلْطَشَاصَّرَ طَوَالَ سَاعَةٍ وَرَوَّعَتْهُ أَفْكَارُهُ، فَقَالَ لَهُ الْمَلِكُ: «لاَ يُفْزِعُكَ الْحُلْمُ وَلاَ تَفْسِيرُهُ يَابَلْطَشَاصَّرُ». فَأَجَابَ: «لِيَرْتَدَّ الْحُلْمُ عَلَى مُبْغِضِيكَ وَتَفْسِيرُهُ عَلَى أَعَادِيكَ.
