Amos 4:7
“I also have withheld the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest; and I caused it to rain on one city, and caused it not to rain on another city. One field was rained on, and the field where it did not rain withered.

| وَأَنَا أَيْضًا مَنَعْتُ عَنْكُمُ ٱلْمَطَرَ إِذْ بَقِيَ ثَلَاثَةُ أَشْهُرٍ لِلْحَصَادِ، وَأَمْطَرْتُ عَلَى مَدِينَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ، وَعَلَى مَدِينَةٍ أُخْرَى لَمْ أُمْطِرْ. أُمْطِرَ عَلَى ضَيْعَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ، وَٱلضَّيْعَةُ ٱلَّتِي لَمْ يُمْطَرْ عَلَيْهَا جَفَّتْ. |
| مَنَعْتُ عَنْكُمُ الْمَطَرَ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ قَدْ بَقِيَ لِلْحَصَادِ سِوَى ثَلاثَةِ أَشْهُرٍ، وَأَمْطَرْتُ عَلَى مَدِينَةٍ دُونَ مَدِينَةٍ، وَعَلَى حَقْلٍ دُونَ الآخَرِ، فَجَفَّ الْحَقْلُ الَّذِي لَمْ أُمْطِرْ عَلَيْهِ. |
“শস্য দাবলৈ তিনি মাহ থাকোঁতেই মই তোমালোকৰ ওপৰত বৰষুণ পৰা বন্ধ কৰি দিলোঁ; এখন নগৰৰ ওপৰত বৰষুণ বৰষালোঁ আৰু আনখনত বৰষুণ বন্ধ কৰিলোঁ। এডোখৰ ভুমিয়ে বৰষুণ পালে আৰু আন এডোখৰে বৰষুণ নোপোৱাত শুকাই গ’ল।
“Mən biçin vaxtına üç ay qalmış sizdən yağışı kəsdim. Bir şəhərin üzərinə yağış yağdırdım, o birinin isə üzərinə yağdırmadım. Yağış bir əkin üzərinə yağdı, o birinin isə üzərinə yağmadığına görə o qurudu.

“যখন শস্য কাটবার তিনমাস বাকি ছিল তখন আমিও তোমাদের থেকে বৃষ্টি নিয়ে নিলাম। আমি এক শহরে বৃষ্টি আর অন্য শহরে অনাবৃষ্টি করলাম। একটি জমিতে বৃষ্টি হল কিন্তু অন্য আরেকটি জমিতে সেখানে বৃষ্টি না হওয়ায় শুকিয়ে গেল।
“আমি তোমাদের কাছ থেকে বৃষ্টিও ধরে রেখেছি, যখন শস্যচয়নের সময় তখনও তিন মাস দূরে ছিল। আমি একটি নগরে বৃষ্টি পাঠিয়েছি, অথচ, অন্য নগরে তা নিবারণ করেছি। একটি মাঠে বৃষ্টি হয়েছে, অন্য মাঠে তা না-হওয়ায় সব শুকিয়ে গেছে।
При това, аз удържах от вас и дъжда, Когато оставаха още три месеца до жетва; Дадох дъжд на един град, А на друг град не дадох дъжд; Едно място се напои, А мястото, на което не валя дъжд изсъхна.

Daartoe heb Ik ook den regen van ulieden geweerd, als er nog drie maanden waren tot den oogst, en heb doen regenen over de ene stad, maar over de andere stad niet doen regenen; het ene stuk lands werd beregend, maar het andere stuk lands, waar het niet op regende, verdorde.
Ik was het, die u regen onthield, Drie maanden lang voor de oogst; Ik liet het regenen op de ene stad, Op de andere niet; De ene akker werd door de regen besproeid, De andere verdroogde, omdat er geen regen op viel.

When it was still three months before [the time of] harvesting [crops], [at the time when your crops needed rain the most], I prevented rain from falling. [Sometimes] I allowed rain to fall on some towns and prevented it from falling on other towns. Rain fell on some fields, but it did not fall on other fields, with the result that [the soil in] those fields [where it did not rain] dried up.

And I also — I have withheld from you the rain. While yet three months to harvest, And I have sent rain on one city, And on another city I do not send rain, One portion is rained on, And the portion on which it raineth not withereth.

Olen myös minä pidättänyt teiltä sateen, kuin vielä kolme kuukautta oli elonaikaan, ja minä annoin sataa yhden kaupungin päälle, ja toisen kaupungin päälle en antanutkaan sataa; yhden saran päälle satoi, ja toinen sarka, jonka päälle ei satanut, kuivettui.

Et je vous ai aussi retenu la pluie quand il n’y avait que trois mois jusqu’à la moisson; et j’ai fait pleuvoir sur une ville, et je n’ai pas fait pleuvoir sur une [autre] ville; il y avait de la pluie sur un champ, et le champ sur lequel il n’y avait pas de pluie séchait;
Je vous ai aussi retenu la pluie, quand il restait encore trois mois jusqu'à la moisson, et j'ai fait pleuvoir sur une ville, et je n'ai point fait pleuvoir sur l'autre; une pièce de terre a été arrosée de pluie, et l'autre pièce, sur laquelle il n'a point plu, est desséchée.
Moi aussi, je vous ai refusé la pluie, lorsqu’il restait encore trois mois jusqu’à la moisson; et j’ai fait pleuvoir sur une cité, et sur une autre cité je n’ai pas fait pleuvoir; une partie n’a pas reçu de pluie, et une partie sur laquelle je n’ai pas fait pleuvoir a été desséchée.

Et Moi, Je vous ai refusé la pluie, trois mois avant la vendange; Je ferai pleuvoir sur telle ville; sur telle autre, Je ne ferai point pleuvoir; sur tel terrain, il pleuvra; et tel autre, où il n'aura pas plu, sera desséché.
C’Est moi aussi qui vous ai refusé la pluie durant les trois mois qui précèdent la moisson; j’ai fait pleuvoir sur telle ville et je n’ai pas fait pleuvoir sur telle autre. Tel champ a reçu la pluie, tel autre n’ayant pas été arrosé, s’est desséché.
"Und ich versagte euch den Regen drei Monde vor der Ernte. Ich ließ auf eine Stadt zwar regnen, doch auf die andre nicht. So ward die eine Gegend zwar beregnet; jedoch die andere, auf die kein Regen fiel, verdorrte.
Und auch ich habe euch den Regen entzogen, als noch drei Monate bis zur Ernte waren; und ich habe auf die eine Stadt regnen lassen, während ich auf die andere Stadt nicht regnen ließ; der eine Acker wurde beregnet, und der Acker, auf welchen es nicht regnete, verdorrte;
Und auch ich habe euch den Regen entzogen, als noch drei Monate bis zur Ernte waren; und ich habe auf die eine Stadt regnen lassen, während ich auf die andere Stadt nicht regnen ließ; der eine Acker wurde beregnet, und der Acker, auf welchen es nicht regnete, verdorrte;
Wohl verweigerte ich euch den Regen, als noch drei Monate bis zur Ernte waren, und ließ wiederholt auf die eine Stadt Regen fallen, auf die andere Stadt nicht - das eine Feld wurde vom Regen getroffen, während das andere Feld, das der Regen nicht traf, verdorrte -;
Auch hab ich den Regen über euch verhalten, bis daß noch drei Monden waren zur Ernte; und ich ließ regnen über eine Stadt und auf die andere ließ ich nicht regnen; ein Acker ward beregnet, und der andere Acker, der nicht beregnet ward, verdorrete.

Und Ich habe euch auch vorenthalten den Regen, da noch drei Monate zur Ernte waren; und ließ regnen über eine Stadt, und nicht regnen über eine andere Stadt; der eine Teil ward beregnet und der Teil, der nicht beregnet ward, verdorrte.
