আর আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষেরা তাদের দিনের ওটা পেয়ে যিহোশূয়ের কাছে আনলেন, যখন সেই জাতিগনের অধিকারে প্রবেশ করল, যাদের ঈশ্বর আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষের সামনে থেকে তাড়িয়ে দিলেন। সেই তাঁবু দায়ূদের দিন পর্যন্ত ছিল।
পরবর্তীকালে যিহোশূয়ের আমলে আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষেরা যখন ঈশ্বর দ্বারা তাড়িয়ে দেওয়া জাতিকে উচ্ছেদ করে তাদের দেশ অধিকার করলেন, তখনও তাঁরা সেই সমাগম তাঁবুটি সঙ্গে নিয়ে গেলেন। সেই তাঁবু দাউদের সময় পর্যন্ত সেখানেই ছিল।

And this tabernacle also our fathers bringing brought in with Jeshu to the land which Aloha had given to them, an inheritance from those peoples whom he had expelled from before them, and it was carried until the days of David;

Kemudian kemah itu dibawa selanjutnya oleh nenek moyang kita pada waktu mereka dengan Yosua pergi merebut negeri kita ini dari kekuasaan bangsa-bangsa yang diusir Allah di hadapan mereka. Kemah itu berada di situ sampai zaman Daud.
Lalu, nenek moyang kita membawanya bersama mereka ketika mereka masuk bersama Yosua untuk menduduki negeri yang mereka ambil dari bangsa-bangsa yang Tuhan usir dari hadapan mereka. Dan kemah itu tetap ada di sana sampai masa Daud menjadi raja.
Kemah itu yang diterima nenek moyang kita dan yang dengan pimpinan Yosua dibawa masuk ke tanah ini, yaitu waktu tanah ini direbut dari bangsa-bangsa lain yang dihalau Allah dari depan nenek moyang kita; demikianlah sampai kepada zaman Daud.
Sesudah itu, Yosua memimpin nenek moyang kita merebut daerah ini. Mereka bisa tinggal di negeri ini karena Allah mengusir orang-orang yang tidak mengenal Dia dari sini. Nenek moyang kita membawa Kemah Suci itu ke sini, dan kemah itu tetap berdiri sampai zaman Daud menjadi raja.
