Casting off the anchors, they left them in the sea, at the same time untying the rudder ropes. Hoisting up the foresail to the wind, they made for the beach.

| فَلَمَّا نَزَعُوا ٱلْمَرَاسِيَ تَارِكِينَ إِيَّاهَا فِي ٱلْبَحْرِ، وَحَلُّوا رُبُطَ ٱلدَّفَّةِ أَيْضًا، رَفَعُوا قِلْعًا لِلرِّيحِ ٱلْهَابَّةِ، وَأَقْبَلُوا إِلَى ٱلشَّاطِئِ. |
| فَقَطَعُوا الْمَرَاسِيَ وَتَرَكُوهَا تَغْرَقُ، وَحَلُّوا الْحِبَالَ الَّتِي تَرْبِطُ الدَّفَّةَ، وَرَفَعُوا الشِّرَاعَ الأَمَامِيَّ لِلرِّيحِ، وَاتَّجَهُوا نَحْوَ الشَّاطِئِ. |

Ուստի ծովը թողուցին խարիսխները՝ կտրելով պարանները, թուլցուցին ղեկերուն պարանները, եւ հովին բանալով առագաստը՝ ուղղուեցան դէպի այդ ծովեզերքը:

তারা নোঙ্গর সকল কেটে সমুদ্রে ত্যাগ করলো এবং সঙ্গে সঙ্গে হালের বাঁধন খুলে দিল; পরে বাতাসের সামনে সামনের দিকের পাল তুলে সেই বালিময় তীরের দিকে চলতে লাগলো।
নোঙরগুলি কেটে দিয়ে তারা সেগুলি সমুদ্রে ফেলে দিল। সেই সঙ্গে তারা হালের সঙ্গে বাঁধা দড়িগুলিও খুলে দিল। এরপর তারা বাতাসের অনুকূলে পাল তুলে দিয়ে তীরের দিকে এগিয়ে চলল।
