तो भी दाऊद ने सिय्योन नामक गढ़ को ले लिया, वही दाऊदपुर भी कहलाता है।

Kota itu dibangunnya di sekeliling benteng itu, mulai dari sebelah timur bukit yang ditinggikan dengan tanah.
Tetapi Daud merebut kubu pertahanan Sion, yaitu kota Daud.
Padahal, kelak Daud berhasil menguasai kota yang berbenteng itu, yang juga disebut benteng Sion. Di kemudian hari tempat itu dikenal dengan nama Kota Daud.
