2-Kings 7:19
and that captain answered the man of God, and said, “Now, behold, if the LORD made windows in heaven, might such a thing be?” and he said, “Behold, you will see it with your eyes, but will not eat of it.”

| وَأَجَابَ ٱلْجُنْدِيُّ رَجُلَ ٱللهِ وَقَالَ: «هُوَذَا ٱلرَّبُّ يَصْنَعُ كُوًى فِي ٱلسَّمَاءِ! هَلْ يَكُونُ مِثْلَ هَذَا ٱلْأَمْرِ؟» قَالَ: «إِنَّكَ تَرَى بِعَيْنَيْكَ وَلَكِنَّكَ لَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ». |
| وَلَكِنَّ الْجُنْدِيَّ قَالَ لِرَجُلِ اللهِ: «حَتَّى إنْ فَتَحَ الرَّبُّ كُوىً فِي السَّمَاءِ فَهَلْ يُمْكِنُ أَنْ يَحْدُثَ هَذَا الأَمْرُ؟» فَقَالَ لَهُ أَلِيشَعُ: «سَتَرَى ذَلِكَ بِعَيْنَيْكَ وَلَكِنَّكَ لَنْ تَأْكُلَ مِنْهُ». |
সেই সেনাপতিয়ে উত্তৰত ঈশ্বৰৰ লোকক কৈছিল, “চাওঁক, যিহোৱাই যদি আকাশৰ খিড়িকিবোৰো খুলি দিয়ে, তথাপিও জানো এনেকুৱা হ’ব পাৰে?” ইলীচাই কৈছিল, “চাই থাকক, আপুনি নিজৰ চকুৰে তাক দেখিব, কিন্তু আপুনি তাৰ অলপো খাবলৈ নাপাব।”
Padşahın köməkçisi də Allah adamına cavab verib demişdi: «Rəbb göylərdə pəncərələr açsa da, bu iş ola bilməz». Allah adamı isə demişdi: «Bax sən gözlərinlə bunu görəcəksən, ancaq ondan yeməyəcəksən».
আর ঐ সেনাপতি উত্তরে ঈশ্বরের লোককে বলেছিলেন, “দেখ, সদাপ্রভু যদি আকাশের জানালাও খুলে দেন তবুও কি এটা হতে পারে?” ইলীশায় বলেছিলেন, “তুমি নিজের চোখেই তা দেখতে পাবে, কিন্তু তার কিছুই তুমি খেতে পারবে না।”
সেই কর্মকর্তা ঈশ্বরের লোককে বললেন, “দেখুন, সদাপ্রভু যদি আকাশের রুদ্ধদ্বার খুলেও দেন, তাও কি এরকম হতে পারে?” ঈশ্বরের লোক উত্তর দিলেন, “আপনি নিজের চোখেই তা দেখবেন, কিন্তু আপনি তার কিছুই খেতে পারবেন না!”

那军长对神人说：“即便耶和华使天开了窗户，也不能有这事。”神人说：“你必亲眼看见，却不得吃。”

And the officer had answered, “That certainly cannot [RHQ] happen! Even if Yahweh himself would open the sky and send down some grain, that could not happen.” And Elisha had replied, “[Because you said that, ] you [SYN] will see it happen, but you will not be able to eat any of the food!”
That captain had answered the man of God and said, “See, even if Yahweh should make windows in heaven, can this thing happen?” Elisha had said, “See, you will watch it happen with your own eyes, but you will not eat any of it.”

Et cet officier ayant dit à l’homme de Dieu: Quand le Seigneur ferait pleuvoir des vivres du ciel, ce que vous dites ne pourrait pas être; l’homme de Dieu lui avait répondu: Tu le verras de tes yeux, et tu n’en mangeras pas.
Et l’officier avait répondu à l’homme de Dieu: Quand l’Éternel ferait des fenêtres au ciel, pareille chose arriverait-elle? Et Élisée avait dit: Tu le verras de tes yeux; mais tu n’en mangeras point.

Or, le grand officier avait répondu au prophète: A moins que le Seigneur n'en fasse tomber du ciel des cataractes, cette parole peut-elle s'accomplir? A quoi Elisée avait repris: Tu le verras de tes yeux, mais tu n'en mangeras point.

καὶ ἀπεκρίθη ὁ τριστάτης τῷ Ελισαιε καὶ εἶπεν ἰδοὺ κύριος ποιεῖ καταρράκτας ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ μὴ ἔσται τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο καὶ εἶπεν Ελισαιε ἰδοὺ ὄψῃ τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς σου καὶ ἐκεῖθεν οὐ φάγῃ
ત્યારે એ સરદારે ઈશ્વરભક્તને કહ્યું, “જો, યહોવાહ આકાશમાં બારીઓ કરે, તોપણ શું આ બાબત બની શકે ખરી?” એલિશાએ કહ્યું હતું, “જો, તું તે તારી પોતાની આંખે જોશે, પણ એમાંનું કશું ખાવા પામશે નહિ.”
