He did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight, but not like his father and like his mother, for he put away the pillar of Baal that his father had made.

| وَارْتَكَبَ الشَّرَّ فِي عَيْنَيِ الرَّبِّ، وَلَكِنَّهُ لَمْ يُوْغِلْ فِيهِ مِثْلَمَا أَوْغَلَ أَبُوهُ وَأُمُّهُ، فَإِنَّهُ أَزَالَ تِمْثَالَ الْبَعْلِ الَّذِي نَصَبَهُ أَبُوهُ. |
যিহোৱাৰ দৃষ্টিত তেওঁ কু-আচৰণ কৰিলে, কিন্তু তেওঁ তেওঁৰ পিতৃ-মাতৃৰ দৰে কৰা নাছিল; কিয়নো তেওঁৰ পিতৃয়ে বাল দেৱতাৰ পূজাৰ কাৰণে যি স্তম্ভ নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰিছিল, তাক তেওঁ দূৰ কৰি দিছিল।
O, Rəbbin gözündə pis olan işlər etdi, ancaq atası və anası kimi deyildi, çünki atasının düzəltdiyi Baal sütununu yox etdi.

He did things that Yahweh considered to be evil, but he did not do as much evil as his father and mother had done, and he got rid of the pillar [for worshiping] Baal which his father had made.

તેણે યહોવાહની દ્રષ્ટિમાં જે ખરાબ હતું તે કર્યું, પણ તેના પિતાની કે માતાની જેમ નહિ, કેમ કે તેણે તેના પિતાએ બનાવેલો બઆલનો પવિત્ર સ્તંભ કાઢી નાખ્યો.

उसने वह किया जो यहोवा की दृष्टि में बुरा था तो भी उसने अपने माता-पिता के बराबर नहीं किया वरन् अपने पिता की बनवाई हुई बाल के स्तम्भ को दूर किया।
याहवेह की दृष्टि में उसका व्यवहार गलत था; हालांकि उतना नहीं जैसा उसके पिता और माता का था; क्योंकि उसने अपने पिता द्वारा बनवाए हुए बाल के खंभों को हटा दिया.

彼は主の目の前に悪をおこなったが、その父母のようではなかった。彼がその父の造ったバアルの石柱を除いたからである。

ಇವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳಷ್ಟು ದುಷ್ಟನಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೂ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರೋಹಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ಬಾಳನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಸ್ತಂಭ, ಸ್ಮಾರಕಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದನು.
