As soon as he had finished offering the burnt offering, Jehu said to the guard and to the captains, “Go in and kill them! Let no one escape.” So they struck them with the edge of the sword. The guard and the captains threw the bodies out, and went to the inner shrine of the house of Baal.

| وَعِنْدَمَا فَرَغَ يَاهُو مِنْ تَقْرِيبِ الْمُحْرَقَةِ، قَالَ لِلْحُرَّاسِ وَالضُّبَّاطِ: «ادْخُلُوا وَأَهْلِكُوهُمْ! لاَ يُفْلِتْ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدٌ». فَأَبَادُوهُمْ بِحَدِّ السَّيْفِ، وَطَرَحُوا جُثَثَهُمْ. ثُمَّ تَوَجَّهُوا نَحْوَ الْمِحْرَابِ الدَّاخِلِيِّ لِمَعْبَدِ الْبَعْلِ، |
যেহূৱে হোমবলি উৎসৰ্গ শেষ কৰাৰ লগে লগে ৰখীয়া আৰু সেনাপতিসকলক আজ্ঞা দিলে, “তোমালোক ভিতৰলৈ সোমাই গৈ তেওঁলোকক বধ কৰা; এজনকো বাহিৰলৈ আহিব নিদিবা।” তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে তৰোৱালেৰে তেওঁলোকক বধ কৰিলে। ৰখীয়া আৰু সেনাপতিসকলে তেওঁলোকৰ শবোৰ বাহিৰলৈ পেলাই দি, বাল দেৱতাৰ মন্দিৰৰ ভিতৰ কোঁঠালিলৈ গ’ল।
