There was no Passover like that kept in Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet, nor did any of the kings of Israel keep such a Passover as Josiah kept—with the priests, the Levites, and all Judah and Israel who were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

| وَلَمْ يُجْرَ احْتِفَالٌ مِثْلُهُ فِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مُنْذُ أَيَّامِ صَمُوئِيلَ النَّبِيِّ. وَلَمْ يَحْتَفِلْ أَحَدُ مُلُوكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ بِالْفِصْحِ بِمِثْلِ مَا احْتَفَلَ بِهِ يُوشِيَّا وَالْكَهَنَةُ وَاللاَّوِيُّونَ وَكُلُّ يَهُوذَا وَإِسْرَائِيلَ الْحَاضِرُونَ، وَأَهْلُ أُورُشَلِيمَ. |
চমূৱেল ভাববাদীৰ দিনৰে পৰা ইস্ৰায়েলত এনে ধৰণৰ নিস্তাৰ-পৰ্ব্ব কেতিয়াও পালন কৰা নাছিল; আনকি যোচিয়া, পুৰোহিসকল, লেবীয়াসকল, উপস্থিত হোৱা গোটেই যিহূদা আৰু ইস্ৰায়েলৰ লোকসকল আৰু যিৰূচালেম-নিবাসীসকলে যেনেকৈ নিস্তাৰ-পৰ্ব্ব পালন কৰিছিল, ইস্ৰায়েলৰ কোনো ৰজাই তেনেকৈ পালন কৰা নাছিল।
Peyğəmbər Şamuelin dövründən bəri Pasxa bayramı İsraildə belə keçirilməmişdi. İsrail padşahlarından heç biri Yoşiya ilə kahinlərin, Levililərin, bütün Yəhudalıların, orada olan İsraillilərin və Yerusəlimdə yaşayanların qeyd etdikləri bu Pasxa kimi bir Pasxa keçirməmişdi.

The Passover [Festival] had not been celebrated like that in Israel since the time that the prophet Samuel lived. None of the other kings of Israel had ever celebrated the Passover like Josiah did, along with the priests, the other descendants of Levi, and all [the other people of] Judah and Israel who were there with the people who lived in Jerusalem.
