Now in the eighteenth year of his reign, when he had purged the land and the house, he sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, Maaseiah the governor of the city, and Joah the son of Joahaz the recorder to repair the house of the LORD his God.

| وَفِي السَّنَةِ الثَّامِنَةَ عَشْرَةَ لِمُلْكِهِ، بَعْدَ أَنْ قَامَ بِتَطْهِيرِ الْبِلاَدِ وَالْهَيْكَلِ بَعَثَ شَافَانَ بْنَ أَصَلْيَا، وَمَعَسِيَا مُحَافِظَ الْمَدِينَةِ وَيُوآخَ بْنَ يُوآحَازَ الْمُسَجِّلَ لِيُرَمِّمُوا هَيْكَلَ اللهِ إِلَهِهِ. |

When Josiah had been ruling for almost 18 years, he [did something else to] cause the land and the temple to be acceptable places to worship Yahweh.
