तब उसी दिन एक बिन्यामीनी मनुष्य सेना में से दौड़कर अपने वस्त्र फाड़े और सिर पर मिट्टी डाले हुए शीलो पहुँचा।
उसी दिन बिन्यामिन वंश का एक व्यक्ति रणभूमि से दौड़ता हुआ शीलो नगर पहुंचा. उसके वस्त्र फट चुके थे तथा उसके सिर पर धूल समाई हुई थी.
