1-Samuel 24:4
David’s men said to him, “Behold, the day of which the LORD said to you, ‘Behold, I will deliver your enemy into your hand, and you shall do to him as it shall seem good to you.’” Then David arose and cut off the skirt of Saul’s robe secretly.

| فَقَالَ لَهُ رِجَالُهُ: «هَذَا هُوَ الْيَوْمُ الَّذِي وَعَدَكَ الرَّبُّ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ فِيهِ عَدُوَّكَ إِلَيْكَ فَتَصْنَعُ بِهِ مَا تَشَاءُ». فَانْسَلَّ دَاوُدُ إِلَيْهِ وَقَطَعَ طَرَفَ جُبَّتِهِ سِرّاً. |
দায়ূদৰ লোকসকলে তেওঁক ক’লে, “চাওক যি দিনৰ বিষয়ে যিহোৱাই আপোনাক কৈছিল সেইদিন আজিয়ে, ‘মই তোমাৰ শত্ৰুক তোমাৰ হাতত সমৰ্পণ কৰিম’ তাতে তোমাৰ যি ইচ্ছা, তাকে তালৈ কৰিবা।” তেতিয়া দায়ূদে গৈ গোপনে চৌলৰ চোলাৰ তল ভাগৰ এডোখৰ কাটি ল’লে।

তখন দায়ূদের লোকেরা তাঁকে বলল, “দেখুন, এ সেই দিন, যে দিনের র কথা সদাপ্রভু আপনাকে বলেছেন, দেখ, আমিই তোমার শত্রুকে তোমার হাতে সমর্পণ করব, তখন তুমি তার প্রতি যা ভালো বুঝবে, তাই করবে৷” তাতে দায়ূদ উঠে চুপিচুপি শৌলের কাপড়ের সামনের অংশ কেটে নিলেন৷
লোকেরা বলল, “সদাপ্রভু এই দিনটির বিষয়েই আপনাকে বললেন, ‘আমি তোমার শত্রুকে তোমার হাতে তুলে দেব, যেন তুমি তার প্রতি যা ইচ্ছা হয় তাই করতে পারো।’” তখন দাউদ সবার অলক্ষ্যে সেখানে ঢুকে শৌলের আলখাল্লার এক কোনা কেটে নিয়ে এলেন।

And the men of David said to him, Behold, the day of which Jehovah said to thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thy hand, and thou shall do to him as it shall seem good to thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul's robe secretly.

And the men of Dauid said vnto him, See, the day is come, whereof the Lord sayde vnto thee, Beholde, I will deliuer thine enemie into thine hande, and thou shalt doe to him as it shall seeme good to thee. Then Dauid arose and cut off the lap of Sauls garment priuily.

David’s men [saw Saul and] whispered to David, “Today is the day that Yahweh spoke about when he said, ‘I will enable you to defeat your enemy.’ You can do to him whatever you want to!” So David crept toward the entrance of the cave and [with his knife] he cut off a piece of Saul’s robe.
David's men said to him, “This is the day of which Yahweh spoke when he said to you, 'I will give your enemy into your hand, for you to do with him as you wish.'” Then David arose and quietly crept forward and cut off the corner of Saul's robe.
And the men of David said to him, Behold the day of which the LORD said to thee, Behold, I will deliver thy enemy into thy hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good to thee. Then David arose, and privately cut off the skirt of Saul's robe.

Les gens de David lui dirent: Voici le jour où l’Éternel te dit: Je livre ton ennemi entre tes mains; traite-le comme bon te semblera. David se leva, et coupa doucement le pan du manteau de Saül.

Et les hommes de David lui dirent: Voici le jour qu'a dit le Seigneur, où il va te livrer ton ennemi; fais-en donc ce que bon te semble. Mais David se leva, et il enleva furtivement un pan du manteau double de Saül.
"Ah! dirent ces hommes à David, voici le moment dont le Seigneur t’a dit: Vois, je mettrai ton ennemi en ta main, tu le traiteras comme bon te semblera." Et David alla couper sans bruit le bord du manteau de Saül.

Da sprachen die Männer Davids zu ihm: Siehe, das ist der Tag, von welchem Jehova zu dir gesagt hat: Siehe, ich werde deinen Feind in deine Hand geben, und tue ihm, wie es gut ist in deinen Augen. Und David stand auf und schnitt heimlich einen Zipfel von dem Oberkleide Sauls ab.
