All Israel heard that Saul had struck the garrison of the Philistines, and also that Israel was considered an abomination to the Philistines. The people were gathered together after Saul to Gilgal.

Und ganz Israel hörte sagen: Saul hat den Philisterposten geschlagen; auch hat sich Israel bei den Philistern verhaßt gemacht! Und das Volk wurde zusammengerufen, Saul nach, gen Gilgal.
Und ganz Israel hörte sagen: Saul hat den Posten der Philister geschlagen, und Israel stinkt auch bei den Philistern; und alles Volk wurde gerufen nach Gilgal, hinter Saul her.

શાઉલે પલિસ્તીઓનું લશ્કર સંહાર્યું છે તે સર્વ ઇઝરાયલીઓએ સાંભળ્યું. પલિસ્તીઓ ઇઝરાયલને ધિક્કારપાત્ર ગણતા હતા, તેથી ઇઝરાયલી સૈનિકો શાઉલ પાછળ ગિલ્ગાલમાં એકત્ર થયા.
