On the eighth day he sent the people away; and they blessed the king, and went to their tents joyful and glad in their hearts for all the goodness that the LORD had shown to David his servant, and to Israel his people.

| وَفِي الْيَوْمِ الخَامِسَ عَشَرَ بَعْدَ الْعِيدِ، صَرَفَ سُلَيْمَانُ الشَّعْبَ، فَبَارَكُوهُ وَتَوَجَّهُوا إِلَى مَنَازِلِهِمْ بِقُلُوبٍ يَغْمُرُهَا الْفَرَحُ وَالْغِبْطَةُ مِنْ أَجْلِ كُلِّ الْخَيْرَاتِ الَّتِي أَبْدَاهَا الرَّبُّ نَحْوَ دَاوُدَ عَبْدِهِ، وَنَحْوَ شَعْبِهِ إِسْرَائِيلَ. |

આઠમે દિવસે રાજાએ લોકોને વિદાય કર્યા અને તેઓએ રાજાને આશીર્વાદ આપ્યો. જે સર્વ ભલાઈ પોતાના સેવક દાઉદ અને પોતાના ઇઝરાયલી લોકો પર ઈશ્વરે કરી હતી તેથી મનમાં હર્ષ તથા આનંદ કરતા તેઓ પોતપોતાને ઘરે ગયા.
