1-Kings 3:11
God said to him, “Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked for yourself long life, nor have you asked for riches for yourself, nor have you asked for the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice,
Atëherë Perëndia i tha: “Me qenë se kërkove këtë dhe nuk kërkove për vete as jetë të gjatë, as pasuri, as vdekjen e armiqve të tu, por ke kërkuar zgjuarsi për të kuptuar atë që është e drejtë,
| فَقَالَ لَهُ ٱللهُ: «مِنْ أَجْلِ أَنَّكَ قَدْ سَأَلْتَ هَذَا ٱلْأَمْرَ، وَلَمْ تَسْأَلْ لِنَفْسِكَ أَيَّامًا كَثِيرَةً وَلَا سَأَلْتَ لِنَفْسِكَ غِنًى، وَلَا سَأَلْتَ أَنْفُسَ أَعْدَائِكَ، بَلْ سَأَلْتَ لِنَفْسِكَ تَمْيِيزًا لِتَفْهَمَ ٱلْحُكْمَ، |
| وَقَالَ لَهُ: «لأَنَّكَ قَدْ طَلَبْتَ هَذَا الأَمْرَ، وَلَمْ تَطْلُبْ حَيَاةً طَوِيلَةً، وَلاَ غِنىً، وَلاَ انْتِقَاماً مِنْ أَعْدَائِكَ، بَلْ سَأَلْتَ حِكْمَةً لِتَسُوسَ شُؤُونَ الْحُكْمِ، |
তেতিয়া ঈশ্বৰে তেওঁক ক’লে, “কিয়নো তুমি এনে বিষয় বিচাৰিলা, আৰু নিজৰ কাৰণে দীঘল আয়ুস বা ঐশ্বৰ্য্য বা তোমাৰ শত্ৰুৰ প্ৰাণ নুখুজিলা, কিন্তু সুবিচাৰ কৰিবলৈ নিজৰ কাৰণে জ্ঞান বিচাৰিলা,
Allah ona dedi: «İndi ki özün üçün uzun ömür, var-dövlət və düşmənlərinin canını istəmədin, bunların yerinə ədaləti ayırd etmək üçün dərrakə istədin,
ঈশ্বর তাঁকে বললেন, “তুমি অনেক আয়ু, কিম্বা নিজের জন্য ধন সম্পদ, কিম্বা তোমার শত্রুদের মৃত্যু না চেয়ে যখন সুবিচার করবার জন্য বোঝবার ক্ষমতা চেয়েছ,
তাই ঈশ্বর তাঁকে বললেন, “যেহেতু তুমি নিজের জন্য দীর্ঘায়ু বা ধনসম্পদ না চেয়ে এই বিষয়টি চেয়েছ, বা তুমি তোমার শত্রুদের মৃত্যু কামনা না করে ন্যায়ের শাসন কায়েম করার জন্য দূরদর্শিতা চেয়েছ,
И Бог му каза: Понеже ти поиска това нещо, и не поиска за себе си дълъг живот, нито поиска за себе си богатство, нито поиска смъртта на неприятелите си, но поиска за себе си разум за да разбираш правосъдие,

神对他说：“你既然求这事，不为自己求寿、求富，也不求灭绝你仇敌的性命，单求智慧可以听讼，
上帝對他說：「你既然求這事，不為自己求壽、求富，也不求滅絕你仇敵的性命，單求智慧可以聽訟，
天主於是對他說﹕「因為你求了這件事，而沒有為你自己求長壽，也沒有為你自己求富貴，也沒有要求你敵人的性命，單單為你自己求了智慧，為能辨明正義。

En God zeide tot hem: Daarom dat gij deze zaak begeerd hebt, en niet begeerd hebt, voor u vele dagen, noch voor u begeerd hebt rijkdom, noch begeerd hebt de ziel uwer vijanden; maar hebt begeerd verstand voor u, om gerichtszaken te horen;
En God sprak tot hem: Omdat gij Mij dit verzoek hebt gedaan, en Mij niet een lang leven of rijkdom, noch de dood uwer vijanden gevraagd hebt, maar inzicht, om het recht te verstaan:
En God zeide tot hem: Daarom dat gij deze zaak begeerd hebt, en niet begeerd hebt, voor u vele dagen, noch voor u begeerd hebt rijkdom, noch begeerd hebt de ziel uwer vijanden; maar hebt begeerd verstand voor u, om gerichtszaken te horen;
And God said to him, Because thou have asked this thing, and have not asked for thyself long life, neither have asked riches for thyself, nor have asked the life of thine enemies, but have asked for thyself understanding to discern justice,

And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life, neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies, but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern justice;
So God said to him, “Since you have asked for this instead of requesting long life or wealth for yourself or death for your enemies—but you have asked for discernment to administer justice—
And God said to him, Because your request is for this thing, and not for long life for yourself or for wealth or for the destruction of your haters, but for wisdom to be a judge of causes;
And the Lord said to him, Because thou hast asked this thing of me, and hast not asked for thyself long life, and hast not asked wealth, nor hast asked the lives of thine enemies, but hast asked for thyself understanding to hear judgment;
And the Lord said to him, Because you have asked this thing of me, and have not asked for yourself long life, and have not asked wealth, nor have asked the lives of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to hear judgement;
And the Lord said to Solomon: “Since you have requested this word, and you have not asked for many days or for wealth for yourself, nor for the lives of your enemies, but instead you have requested for yourself wisdom in order to discern judgment:
And God said to him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life, neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies, but hast asked for thyself discernment to understand judgment;
And the Lord said to Solomon: Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life or riches, nor the lives of thy enemies, but hast asked for thyself wisdom to discern judgment,
So God told him, “Because you asked for this, and you didn't ask for a long life, or wealth, or the death of your enemies, but instead you asked for understanding to know what is right,
And God sayde vnto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thy selfe long life, neyther hast asked riches for thy selfe, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies, but hast asked for thy selfe vnderstanding to heare iudgement,
And God said unto him: 'Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern justice;
And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;
And God said to him, Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked for yourself long life; neither have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies; but have asked for yourself understanding to discern judgment;

And Elohim said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;
And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;
And God said unto him, Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked for yourself long life; neither have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies; but have asked for yourself understanding to discern judgment;
And the Lord said to him, Because you have asked this thing of me, and have not asked for yourself long life, and have not asked wealth, nor have asked the lives of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to hear judgment;
And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; and hast not asked for thyself riches, nor hast asked the life of thy enemies; but hast asked for thyself discernment to understand [how to give] judgment:
and God says to him, “Because that you have asked for this thing, and have not asked for many days for yourself, nor asked for riches for yourself, nor asked for the life of your enemies, and have asked for discernment for yourself to understand judgment,
God said to him, "Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked for yourself long life, neither have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice;

And he said God to him because that you asked the thing this and not you asked for yourself days many and not you asked for yourself wealth and not you asked [the] life of enemies your and you asked for yourself to understand to hear judgment.
and to say God to(wards) him because which to ask [obj] [the] word: thing [the] this and not to ask to/for you day many and not to ask to/for you riches and not to ask soul: life enemy your and to ask to/for you to understand to/for to hear: judge justice
God said to him, “You did not request that you live for many years or that you become very rich or that you be able to kill all your enemies. Instead, you have requested that I enable you to be wise, in order that you will be able to know [and to do] what is right [while you govern these people].
So God said to him, “Because you have asked this thing and have not asked for yourself long life or riches or the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice.
And God said to him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thy enemies: but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;

and God saith unto him, 'Because that thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thee many days, nor asked for thee riches, nor asked the life of thine enemies, and hast asked for thee discernment to understand judgment,

Et Dieu lui dit: Parce que tu m'as fait cette demande, et que tu n'as point demandé une longue vie, et que tu n'as point demandé des richesses, et que tu n'as point demandé la mort de tes ennemis, mais que tu as demandé de l'intelligence pour rendre la justice;
Et il dit à Salomon: Parce que tu m’as fait cette demande, et que tu n’as point désiré un grand nombre d’années, ou de grandes richesses, ou la vie de tes ennemis, mais la sagesse pour discerner ce qui est juste,
Et Dieu lui dit: Puisque c’est là ce que tu demandes, puisque tu ne demandes pour toi ni une longue vie, ni les richesses, ni la mort de tes ennemis, et que tu demandes de l’intelligence pour exercer la justice,
et Dieu lui dit: « Parce que tu as fait cette demande, et que tu n’as pas demandé pour toi de longs jours, et que tu n’as pas demandé pour toi des richesses, et que tu n’as pas demandé pour toi la mort de tes ennemis, mais que tu as demandé pour toi de l’intelligence pour exercer la justice,
Et Dieu lui dit: Puisque tu m'as fait cette demande, et que tu n'as demandé ni une longue vie, ni des richesses, ni la mort de tes ennemis, mais que tu as demandé de l'intelligence pour rendre la justice:
Et Dieu lui dit: Parce que tu as demandé cette chose, et que tu n'as demandé pour toi ni longue vie, ni richesses, ni mort de tes ennemis, et que tu as demandé pour toi la capacité d'administrer la justice,
Et le Seigneur lui dit: Parce que tu m'as demandé cette chose, et que tu ne m'as pas demandé pour toi de longs jours, que tu ne m'as pas demandé des richesses, que tu ne m'as pas demandé la mort de tes ennemis, mais que tu m'as demandé pour toi la sagesse, afin de discerner ce qui est juste,
et Dieu lui dit: "Parce que tu as fait une telle demande, parce que tu n’as demandé ni de longs jours, ni des richesses, ni la vie de tes ennemis, que tu as seulement demandé l’intelligence afin de savoir rendre la justice,
Und Gott sprach zu ihm: "Weil du darum gefleht und dir nicht langes Leben hast erbeten, nicht Reichtum und nicht deiner Feinde Tod, nein, nur für dich gebeten hast, recht klug zu werden, um auf Recht zu hören,

Und Gott sprach zu ihm: Weil du solches bittest und bittest nicht um langes Leben, noch um Reichtum, noch um deiner Feinde Seele, sondern um Verstand, Gericht zu hören,
Und Gott sprach zu ihm: Weil du solches bittest und bittest nicht um langes Leben noch um Reichtum noch um deiner Feinde Seele, sondern um Verstand, Gericht zu hören,
darum antwortete Gott ihm: »Weil du diese Bitte ausgesprochen und dir nicht ein langes Leben oder Reichtum gewünscht oder auch um den Tod deiner Feinde gebeten, sondern dir Einsicht erbeten hast, um Verständnis für das Recht zu besitzen,
Und Gott sprach zu ihm: Weil du um solches bittest, und bittest nicht um Reichtum und bittest nicht um das Leben deiner Feinde, sondern bittest um Verstand zur Rechtspflege,
Und Gott sprach zu ihm: Weil du um solches gebeten, und nicht gebeten hast für dich um viele Tage, und nicht gebeten für dich um Reichtum und nicht gebeten hast um die Seele deiner Feinde, sondern für dich gebeten hast um Einsicht, das Recht zu hören:

Και είπεν ο Θεός προς αυτόν, Επειδή εζήτησας το πράγμα τούτο, και δεν εζήτησας εις σεαυτόν πολυζωΐαν, και δεν εζήτησας εις σεαυτόν πλούτη, και δεν εζήτησας την ζωήν των εχθρών σου, αλλ' εζήτησας εις σεαυτόν σύνεσιν διά να εννοής κρίσιν,
καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς αὐτόν ἀνθ’ ὧν ᾐτήσω παρ’ ἐμοῦ τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο καὶ οὐκ ᾐτήσω σαυτῷ ἡμέρας πολλὰς καὶ οὐκ ᾐτήσω πλοῦτον οὐδὲ ᾐτήσω ψυχὰς ἐχθρῶν σου ἀλλ’ ᾐτήσω σαυτῷ σύνεσιν τοῦ εἰσακούειν κρίμα
તેથી ઈશ્વરે તેને કહ્યું, “તેં યોગ્ય માગણી કરી છે અને પોતાના માટે લાબું આયુષ્ય માગ્યું નથી. વળી તેં પોતાને માટે સંપત્તિ અથવા તારા દુશ્મનોના જીવ માગ્યા નથી, પણ ન્યાય કરવા માટે બુદ્ધિ માગી છે,

| ויאמר אלהים אליו יען אשר שאלת את הדבר הזה ולא שאלת לך ימים רבים ולא שאלת לך עשר ולא שאלת נפש איביך ושאלת לך הבין לשמע משפט |
