1-Chronicles 21:3
Joab said, “May the LORD make his people a hundred times as many as they are. But, my lord the king, are not they all my lord’s servants? Why does my lord require this thing? Why will he be a cause of guilt to Israel?”

| فَقَالَ يُوآبُ: «لِيَزِدِ ٱلرَّبُّ عَلَى شَعْبِهِ أَمْثَالَهُمْ مِئَةَ ضِعْفٍ. أَلَيْسُوا جَمِيعًا يَا سَيِّدِي ٱلْمَلِكَ عَبِيدًا لِسَيِّدِي؟ لِمَاذَا يَطْلُبُ هَذَا سَيِّدِي؟ لِمَاذَا يَكُونُ سَبَبَ إِثْمٍ لِإِسْرَائِيلَ؟» |
| فَأَجَابَ يُوآبُ مُعْتَرِضاً: «لِيَزِدِ الرَّبُّ شَعْبَهُ مِئَةَ ضِعْفٍ! أَلَيْسُوا جَمِيعاً رَعِيَّةَ سَيِّدِي الْمَلِكِ؟ لِمَاذَا يَطْلُبُ سَيِّدِي هَذَا؟ وَلِمَاذَا يَجْلِبُ إِثْماً عَلَى إِسْرَائِيلَ؟» |
যোৱাবে ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই তেওঁৰ সৈন্যসকলক এতিয়া যিমান আছে তাতকৈ এশ গুণ অধিক বৃদ্ধি কৰক। কিন্তু হে মোৰ প্ৰভু মহাৰাজ, তেওঁলোক সকলোৱে জানো মোৰ প্ৰভুৰ পৰিচৰ্যা নকৰে? কিয় মোৰ প্ৰভুৱে এইদৰে বিচাৰিছে? কিয় ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ওপৰত দোষ কঢ়িয়াই আনিছে?”
Yoav dedi: «Rəbb xalqını olduğundan yüz qat artıq etsin. Ancaq, ağam padşah, onların hamısı ağamın qulları deyilmi? Nə üçün ağam bunu istəyir? Nə üçün bu, İsrailə cəza gətirsin?»
কিন্তু যোয়াব উত্তরে বললেন, “সদাপ্রভু যেন তাঁর নিজের লোকদের সংখ্যা একশো গুণ বাড়িয়ে দেন। আমার প্রভু মহারাজ, এরা সবাই কি আপনার দাস নয়? তবে কেন আমার প্রভু এটা করতে চাইছেন? কেন আপনার জন্য গোটা ইস্রায়েল জাতি দোষী হবে?”
কিন্তু যোয়াব উত্তর দিলেন, “সদাপ্রভু যেন তাঁর সৈন্যদলকে কয়েকশো গুণ বাড়িয়ে তোলেন। হে আমার প্রভু মহারাজ, তারা সবাই কি আমার প্রভুর অধীনস্থ দাস নয়? তবে কেন আমার প্রভু এরকম কাজ করতে চাইছেন? তিনি কেন ইস্রায়েলের উপর অপরাধ বয়ে আনতে চাইছেন?”
А Иоав рече: Господ дано притури на людете Си стократно повече отколкото са! но господарю мой царю, те всички не са ли слуги на господаря ми? защо господарят ми желае това? защо да стане причина на вина у Израиля?
Miingon si Joab, “Himoon unta ni Yahweh ang iyang mga kasundalohan sa gatosan ka pilo labaw pa niini. Apan agalon kong hari, dili ba nag-alagad man silang tanan kanimo? Nganong buot man sa akong agalon nga ipabuhat kini? Nganong pakasad-on man ang Israel?”
Ug si Joab miingon: Himoon ni Jehova nga ang iyang katawohan mokabat sa usa ka gatus ka pilo sa gidaghanon nila karon; apan, ginoo ko nga hari, dili ba silang tanan mga alagad sa akong ginoo? Nganong nagakinahanglan ang akong ginoo niining butanga? Ngano nga siya maoy mahimong hinungdan sa kasal-anan sa Israel?

Tedae Joab loh, “BOEIPA loh a pilnam te a pueh yakhat la a thap bitko. Ka boei manghai aw, amih boeih te ka boei taengah sal la a om uh moenih a? Ka boeipa loh balae tih he he a hue. Balae tih Israel soah dumlai la a om eh?” a ti.
Ahin Joab’in adonbut’in, “Pakaiyin Israel chate ajat ja’n hin punsah hen. Ahin ka Pakai le ka Lengpa, amaho khu namite hilou ham? Iding’a ka Pakaipa’n hiche nabol nom ham? Iding’a Israelte chung’a themmona lhunsah ding nagot ham?” ati.
约押说：“愿耶和华使他的百姓比现在加增百倍。我主我王啊，他们不都是你的仆人吗？我主为何吩咐行这事，为何使以色列人陷在罪里呢？”
約押說：「願耶和華使他的百姓比現在加增百倍。我主我王啊，他們不都是你的僕人嗎？我主為何吩咐行這事，為何使以色列人陷在罪裏呢？」
約阿布回答說：「願上主使自己的百姓比現在更增加百倍! 我主大王，他們不都是我主的僕人嗎﹖我主為什麼硬要這樣作﹖為什麼要使以色列陷於罪惡﹖」
Joab reče: “Neka Jahve dade svome narodu još sto puta ovoliko koliko ga je sada! Nisu li, moj gospodaru kralju, svi oni sluge mome gospodaru? Zašto traži to moj gospodar? Zašto da bude na krivicu Izraelu?”

Men Joab svarede: "Måtte HERREN forøge sit Folk hundredfold! Er de ikke, Herre Konge, min Herres Trælle alle sammen? Hvorfor vil min Herre det? Hvorfor skal det blive Israel til Skyld?"
Da sagde Joab: Herren lægge til sit Folk, som disse ere, hundrede Gange saa mange! ere de ikke, min Herre Konge, alle sammen min Herres Tjenere? hvorfor forlanger min Herre da dette? hvorfor skal dette være til en Skyld paa Israel?
Men Joab svarede: »Maatte HERREN forøge sit Folk hundredfold! Er de ikke, Herre Konge, min Herres Trælle alle sammen? Hvorfor vil min Herre det? Hvorfor skal det blive Israel til Skyld?«
To Joab nodwoke niya, “Mad Jehova Nyasaye med jolweny madirom nyadi mia achiel. Ruodha kendo jatenda, to donge gin duto gin jo-ruoth? To en angʼo momiyo ruoth ma en ruodha didwar timo richo machal kama ni Israel?”
Toen zeide Joab: De HEERE doe tot Zijn volk, gelijk zij nu zijn, honderdmaal meer; zijn zij niet allen, o mijn heer koning, mijn heer tot knechten? Waarom verzoekt mijn heer dit? Waarom zou het Israel tot schuld worden?
Joab antwoordde: Heer koning, moge Jahweh het volk nog honderdmaal talrijker maken! Ze zijn toch allen mijn heer en koning onderdanig? Waarom wil mijn heer en koning dat nagaan; waarom wil hij een schuld laden op Israël?
Toen zeide Joab: De HEERE doe tot Zijn volk, gelijk zij nu zijn, honderdmaal meer; zijn zij niet allen, o mijn heer koning, mijn heer tot knechten? Waarom verzoekt mijn heer dit? Waarom zou het Israel tot schuld worden?
And Joab said, Jehovah make his people a hundred times as many as they are. But, my lord the king, are they not all my lord's servants? Why does my lord require this thing? Why will he be a cause of guilt to Israel?
Joab said, “May the LORD make his people a hundred times as many as they are. But, my lord the king, are not they all my lord’s servants? Why does my lord require this thing? Why will he be a cause of guilt to Israel?”
And Joab said, Jehovah make his people a hundred times as many as they are: but, my lord the king, are they not all my lord’s servants? why doth my lord require this thing? why will he be a cause of guilt unto Israel?
But Joab replied, “May the LORD multiply His troops a hundred times over. My lord the king, are they not all servants of my lord? Why does my lord want to do this? Why should he bring guilt on Israel?”
And Joab said, May the Lord make his people a hundred times more in number than they are; but, my lord king, are they not all my lord's servants? why would my lord have this done? why will he become a cause of sin to Israel?
And Joab said, May the Lord add to his people, a hundred-fold as many as they [are], and [let] the eyes of my lord the king see [it]: all [are] the servants of my lord. Why does my lord seek this thing? [do it not], lest it become a sin to Israel.

And Joab responded: “May the Lord increase his people a hundred times more than they are. But, my lord the king, are they not all your servants? Why would my lord seek this thing, which may be imputed as a sin to Israel?”
And Joab said, Jehovah add to his people, how many soever they be, a hundredfold: are they not all, my lord O king, my lord's servants? why does my lord require this thing? why should he become a trespass to Israel?
And Joab answered: The Lord make his people a hundred times more than they are: but, my lord the king, are they not all thy servants: why doth my lord seek this thing, which may be imputed as a sin to Israel?
But Joab replied, “May the Lord multiply his people a hundred times over. Your Majesty, aren't they all your subjects? Why do you want to do this? Why should you make Israel guilty?”
And Ioab answered, The Lord increase his people an hundreth times so many as they be, O my lord the King: are they not all my lords seruats? wherefore doeth my lord require this thing? why should he be a cause of trespasse to Israel?
And Joab said: 'The LORD make His people a hundred times so many more as they are; but, my lord the king, are they not all my lord's servants? why doth my lord require this thing? why will he be a cause of guilt unto Israel?'

And Joab says, “YHWH adds to His people as they are one hundred times; are they not, my lord, O king, all of them for servants to my lord? Why does my lord seek this? Why is he for a cause of guilt to Israel?”
Joab said, "May the LORD make his people a hundred times as many as they are. But, my lord the king, aren't they all my lord's servants? Why does my lord require this thing? Why will he be a cause of guilt to Israel?"

Then said Joab, May Yahweh add unto his people, as many as they are, a hundred times, but are they not, my lord O king, all of them my lord’s, as servants? wherefore should my lord seek this? wherefore should it become guilt to Israel?
And he said Joab may he add Yahweh to people his - like them a hundred times ¿ not O lord my the king [do] all of them [belong] to lord my to subjects why? does he seek this lord my why? will it become guilt for Israel.
and to say Joab to add LORD upon people his like/as them hundred beat not lord my [the] king all their to/for lord my to/for servant/slave to/for what? to seek this lord my to/for what? to be to/for guiltiness to/for Israel
But Joab replied, “Your majesty, even if Yahweh allowed us to have 100 times as many soldiers as we have now, you would [RHQ] still rule all of them. So why do you want us to do this? You will surely [RHQ] cause [all the people of] Israel to be guilty of sinning.”
Joab said, “May Yahweh make his army a hundred times greater than it is. But my master the king, do they not all serve my master? Why does my master want this? Why bring guilt on Israel?”
And Joab answered, the LORD make his people a hundred times more numerous than they [are]: but, my lord the king, [are] they not all my lord's servants? why then doth my lord require this thing? why will he be a cause of trespass to Israel?

And Joab answeride, The Lord encresse his puple an hundrid fold more than thei ben; my lord the kyng, whether alle ben not thi seruauntis? Whi sekith my lord this thing, that schal be arettid in to synne to Israel?
And Joab saith, 'Jehovah doth add to His people as they are a hundred times; are they not, my lord, O king, all of them to my lord for servants? why doth my lord seek this? why is he for a cause of guilt to Israel?'
Joab diris: La Eternulo multigu Sian popolon centoble; ili ĉiuj, ho reĝo, mia sinjoro, estas ja servantoj por mia sinjoro; por kio do mia sinjoro tion postulas? por kio tio fariĝu kulpo sur Izrael?
Ke Yoab melɔ̃ ɖe nya sia dzi o. Ebia David be, “Ne Yehowa na eƒe amewo dzi ɖe edzi zi alafa ɖeka hã la, ɖe wo katã manye tɔwòwo oa? Nu ka ta nèle didim be míawɔ nu sia? Nu ka ta nàna Israel nakpɔ fɔbubu?”
Joab sanoi: Herra enentäköön kansansa sata kertaa suuremmaksi kuin se nyt on. Herrani kuningas, eikö nämät kaikki ole herrani palveliat? miksi siis herrani kysyy sitä? miksi se tulis synniksi Israelille?
Jooab vastasi: "Herra lisätköön kansansa, olkoon se kuinka suuri tahansa, satakertaiseksi. Ovathan he, herrani, kuningas, kaikki herrani palvelijoita. Miksi herrani pyytää tätä? Miksi Israel näin joutuisi vikapääksi?"
Joab répondit: " Que Yahweh ajoute à son peuple cent fois ce qu'il y en a! O roi, monseigneur, ne sont-ils pas tous esclaves de mon seigneur? Pourquoi donc mon seigneur demande-t-il cela? Pourquoi faire venir le péché sur Israël? "
Joab dit: « Que Yahvé rende son peuple cent fois plus nombreux qu'eux! Mais, mon seigneur le roi, ne sont-ils pas tous des serviteurs de mon seigneur? Pourquoi mon seigneur exige-t-il cela? Pourquoi sera-t-il une cause de culpabilité pour Israël? »
Et Joab dit: Que l’Éternel ajoute à son peuple 100 fois autant qu’il y en a! Ô roi, mon seigneur, ne sont-ils pas tous serviteurs de mon seigneur? Pourquoi mon seigneur cherche-t-il cela? Pourquoi la culpabilité en viendrait-elle sur Israël?
Mais Joab répondit: Que l'Eternel veuille augmenter son peuple cent fois autant qu'il est, ô Roi mon Seigneur! tous ne sont-ils pas serviteurs de mon Seigneur? Pourquoi mon Seigneur cherche-t-il cela? [et] pourquoi cela serait-il imputé comme un crime à Israël?
Joab lui répondit: Que le Seigneur daigne multiplier son peuple au centuple de ce qu’il est maintenant. Monseigneur le roi, tous ne sont-ils pas vos serviteurs? Pourquoi recherchez-vous une chose qui sera imputée à péché à Israël?
Joab répondit: Que l’Éternel rende son peuple cent fois plus nombreux! O roi mon seigneur, ne sont-ils pas tous serviteurs de mon seigneur? Mais pourquoi mon seigneur demande-t-il cela? Pourquoi faire ainsi pécher Israël?
Joab répondit: « Que Yahweh ajoute à son peuple cent fois ce qu’il y en a! O roi, monseigneur, ne sont-ils pas tous esclaves de mon seigneur? Pourquoi donc mon seigneur demande-t-il cela? Pourquoi faire venir le péché sur Israël? »
Mais Joab répondit: Que l'Éternel veuille augmenter son peuple cent fois autant qu'il est! O roi mon seigneur, ne sont-ils pas tous serviteurs de mon seigneur? Pourquoi mon seigneur cherche-t-il cela? Et pourquoi Israël en serait-il coupable?
Et Joab dit: Puisse l'Éternel augmenter le peuple au centuple de ce qu'il est! Ne sont-ils pas tous, ô roi, mon seigneur, sujets de mon seigneur? Pourquoi mon seigneur a-t-il un tel désir? Pourquoi, mettre Israël en état de délit?
Joab répondit: Puisse le Seigneur ajouter à son peuple et le rendre cent fois aussi nombreux qu'il l'est, et puisse le roi mon maître le voir de ses yeux; puissent le voir aussi les serviteurs de mon maître; mais pourquoi mon maître a-t-il formé ce dessein? Est-ce pour qu'il soit imputé à péché au peuple d'Israël?
Joab répondit: "Ah! que l’Eternel multiplie son peuple au centuple de ce qu’il est! Tous, mon seigneur et roi, ne sont-ils pas tes serviteurs? Pourquoi mon maître demande-t-il pareille chose? Pourquoi charger Israël d’un tel péché?"
Da sprach Joab: "Mag der Herr sein Volk, wie es ist, noch hundertfach vermehren! Sind sie nicht alle dem König, meinem Herrn, untertan? Warum verlangt dies mein Herr? Warum soll es Israel zur Schuld werden?"
Und Joab sprach: Es möge Jehova zu seinem Volke, so viele ihrer sind, hundertmal hinzufügen! Sind sie nicht alle, mein Herr König, die Knechte meines Herrn? Warum begehrt mein Herr solches? Warum soll es Israel zur Schuld werden?

Joab erwiderte: Mag Jahwe zu seinem Volke, so viele ihrer sind, noch hundertmal mehr hinzuthun, so sind sie, mein Herr und König, ja doch ingesamt meinem Herrn unterthan - warum verlangt mein Herr solches? Warum soll es Israel zur Verschuldung gereichen?
Joab sprach: Der HERR tue zu seinem Volk, wie sie jetzt sind, hundertmal soviel; aber, mein HERR König, sind sie nicht alle meines HERRN Knechte? Warum fraget denn mein HERR danach? Warum soll eine Schuld auf Israel kommen?

Joab entgegnete: »Der HERR möge sein Volk, so zahlreich es auch jetzt schon ist, noch hundertmal zahlreicher werden lassen! Sie sind ja doch alle, mein Herr und König, gehorsame Untertanen meines Herrn. Warum hegt mein Herr solchen Wunsch? Warum soll Israel eine Verschuldung auf sich laden?«
Joab sprach: Der HERR tue zu seinem Volk, wie zahlreich es jetzt ist, noch hundertmal mehr hinzu! Aber sind sie nicht, mein Herr und König, alle meines Herrn Knechte? Warum soll eine Schuld auf Israel kommen?
Nowe Joabu akĩmũcookeria atĩrĩ, “Jehova aroingĩhia mbũtũ ciake cia ita maita igana. Mwathi wakwa mũthamaki, githĩ othe matirĩ watho-inĩ waku? Nĩ kĩĩ gĩgũtũma mwathi wakwa ende gwĩka ũguo? Nĩ kĩĩ gĩgũtũma ahĩtithie Isiraeli?”
Ο δε Ιωάβ απεκρίθη, Ο Κύριος να προσθέση επί τον λαόν αυτού εκατονταπλάσιον αφ' ό, τι είναι αλλά, κύριέ μου βασιλεύ, δεν είναι πάντες δούλοι του κυρίου μου; διά τι ο κύριός μου επιθυμεί τούτο; διά τι να γείνη τούτο αμάρτημα εις τον Ισραήλ;

योआब ने कहा, “यहोवा की प्रजा के कितने ही क्यों न हों, वह उनको सौ गुना बढ़ा दे; परन्तु हे मेरे प्रभु! हे राजा! क्या वे सब राजा के अधीन नहीं हैं? मेरा प्रभु ऐसी बात क्यों चाहता है? वह इस्राएल पर दोष लगने का कारण क्यों बने?”
मगर योआब ने मना किया, “आज प्रजा की जो गिनती है, याहवेह उसे सौ गुणा बढ़ाएं. महाराज मेरे स्वामी, क्या उनमें से हर एक मेरे स्वामी का सेवक नहीं है? तब मेरे स्वामी को इसकी क्या ज़रूरत है? यह क्यों इस्राएल के दोष का कारण बने?”

Lalu berkatalah Yoab: "Kiranya TUHAN menambahi rakyat-Nya seratus kali lipat dari pada yang ada sekarang. Ya tuanku raja, bukankah mereka sekalian, hamba-hamba tuanku? Mengapa tuanku menuntut hal ini? Mengapa orang Israel harus menanggung kesalahan oleh karena hal itu?"

എന്നാൽ യോവാബ് മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു: “യഹോവ തന്റെ സൈന്യത്തെ ഇനിയും നൂറുമടങ്ങായി വർധിപ്പിക്കട്ടെ! എന്റെ യജമാനനായ രാജാവേ! അവരെല്ലാവരും അങ്ങയുടെ പ്രജകളല്ലോ! എന്റെ യജമാനൻ ഇതു ചെയ്യാൻ താത്പര്യപ്പെടുന്നത് എന്തിന്? എന്തിന് ഇസ്രായേലിന്മേൽ കുറ്റം വരുത്തിവെക്കുന്നു?”

| یوآب جواب داد: «خداوند لشکر خود را صد برابر افزایش دهد. همهٔ این سربازان مال پادشاه هستند، پس چرا آقایم میخواهد دست به سرشماری بزند و اسرائیل را گناهکار سازد؟» |

Lecz Joab odpowiedział: Niech PAN pomnoży swój lud sto razy tyle, ile go jest. Lecz, mój panie, królu, czy nie są oni wszyscy sługami mego pana? Czemu mój pan żąda tego? Czemu miałoby to być przyczyną grzechu dla Izraela?

И сказал Иоав: да умножит Господь народ Свой во сто раз против того, сколько есть его. Не все ли они, господин мой царь, рабы господина моего? Для чего же требует сего господин мой? Чтобы вменилось это в вину Израилю?

Joab respondió: Añada Yavé a su pueblo 100 veces más, rey ʼadón mío. ¿No son todos éstos esclavos de mi ʼadón? ¿Por qué mi ʼadón procura esto? Porque debe ser causa de culpa para Israel.
Y dijo Joab: Añada Jehová a su pueblo cien veces otros tantos. Rey señor mío: ¿no son todos estos siervos de mi señor? ¿Para qué procura esto mi señor? ¿Para qué sea por pecado a Israel?

Y Joab dijo: Que el Señor haga a su pueblo cien veces más en número que ellos; pero, mi señor rey, ¿no son todos los siervos de mi señor? ¿Por qué mi señor habría hecho esto? ¿Por qué se convertirá en una causa de pecado para Israel?
Respondió Joab: “¡Multiplique Yahvé su pueblo cien veces más de lo que es! ¿Acaso no son, oh rey, señor mío, todos ellos siervos de mi señor? ¿Por qué, pues, pide esto mi señor? ¿Por qué traer culpa sobre Israel?”

Giô-áp thưa: “Cầu Chúa Hằng Hữu tăng số dân gấp trăm lần! Tất cả dân không phải là đầy tớ vua sao? Tại sao vua muốn kiểm kê dân số? Tại sao vua gây cho Ít-ra-ên mắc tội?”
