< Luke 21 >

1 Nígbà tí ó sì gbé ojú sókè, ó rí àwọn ọlọ́rọ̀ ń fi ẹ̀bùn wọn sínú àpótí ìṣúra.
And looking on, he saw the rich men cast their gifts into the treasury.
2 Ó sì rí tálákà opó kan pẹ̀lú, ó ń sọ owó idẹ wẹ́wẹ́ méjì síbẹ̀.
And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in two brass mites.
3 Ó sì wí pé, “Lóòótọ́ ni mo wí fún yín, tálákà opó yìí fi sí i ju gbogbo wọn lọ,
And he said: Verily I say to you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
4 nítorí gbogbo àwọn wọ̀nyí fi sínú ẹ̀bùn Ọlọ́run láti ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ìní wọn; ṣùgbọ́n òun nínú àìní rẹ̀ ó sọ gbogbo ohun ìní rẹ̀ tí ó ní sínú rẹ̀.”
For all these have of their abundance cast into the offerings of God: but she of her want, hath cast in all the living that she had.
5 Bí àwọn kan sì ti ń sọ̀rọ̀ nípa tẹmpili, bí a ti fi òkúta dáradára àti ẹ̀bùn ṣe é ní ọ̀ṣọ́, fun Ọlọ́run, Jesu wí pé
And some saying of the temple, that it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said:
6 “Ohun tí ẹ̀yin ń wò wọ̀nyí, ọjọ́ ń bọ̀, nígbà tí a kì yóò fi òkúta kan sílẹ̀ lórí èkejì tí a kì yóò wó lulẹ̀.”
These things which you see, the days will come in which there shall not be left a stone upon a stone that shall not be thrown down.
7 Wọ́n sì béèrè lọ́wọ́ rẹ̀, pé, “Olùkọ́, nígbà wo ni nǹkan wọ̀nyí yóò rí bẹ́ẹ̀? Àti àmì kín ni yóò wà, nígbà tí nǹkan wọ̀nyí yóò fi ṣẹ?”
And they asked him, saying: Master, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when they shall begin to come to pass?
8 Ó sì wí pé, “Ẹ máa kíyèsára, kí a má bá à mú yín ṣìnà: nítorí ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ yóò wá ní orúkọ mi, tí yóò máa wí pé, ‘Èmi ní Kristi náà àkókò náà sì kù sí dẹ̀dẹ̀.’ Ẹ má ṣe tọ̀ wọ́n lẹ́yìn.
Who said: Take heed you be not seduced; for many will come in my name, saying, I am he; and the time is at hand: go ye not therefore after them.
9 Ṣùgbọ́n nígbà tí ẹ̀yin bá gbúròó ogun àti ìdágìrì, ẹ má ṣe fòyà; nítorí nǹkan wọ̀nyí ní láti kọ́kọ́ ṣẹlẹ̀, ṣùgbọ́n òpin náà kì í ṣe lójúkan náà.”
And when you shall hear of wars and seditions, be not terrified: these things must first come to pass; but the end is not yet presently.
10 Nígbà náà ni ó wí fún wọn pé, “Orílẹ̀-èdè yóò dìde sí orílẹ̀-èdè, àti ìjọba sí ìjọba.
Then he said to them: Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
11 Ilẹ̀-rírì ńlá yóò sì wà káàkiri, àti ìyàn àti àjàkálẹ̀-ààrùn; ohun ẹ̀rù, àti àmì ńlá yóò sì ti ọ̀run wá.
And there shall be great earthquakes in divers places, and pestilences, and famines, and terrors from heaven; and there shall be great signs.
12 “Ṣùgbọ́n ṣáájú gbogbo nǹkan wọ̀nyí, wọn ó nawọ́ mú yín, wọn ó sì ṣe inúnibíni sí yín, wọn ó mú yín lọ sí Sinagọgu, àti sínú túbú, wọn ó mú yín lọ sọ́dọ̀ àwọn ọba àti àwọn ìjòyè nítorí orúkọ mi.
But before all these things, they will lay their hands upon you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and into prisons, dragging you before kings and governors, for my name’s sake.
13 Ẹ o si jẹ́rìí nípa mi.
And it shall happen unto you for a testimony.
14 Nítorí náà ẹ pinnu rẹ̀ ní ọkàn yín pé ẹ ko ronú ṣáájú, bí ẹ ó ti dáhùn.
Lay it up therefore into your hearts, not to meditate before how you shall answer:
15 Nítorí tí èmi ó fún yín ní ẹnu àti ọgbọ́n, tí gbogbo àwọn ọ̀tá yín kì yóò lè sọ̀rọ̀-òdì sí, tí wọn kì yóò sì lè kò lójú.
For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to resist and gainsay.
16 A ó sì fi yín hàn láti ọwọ́ àwọn òbí yín wá, àti àwọn arákùnrin, àti àwọn ìbátan, àti àwọn ọ̀rẹ́; òun ó sì mú kì a pa nínú yín.
And you shall be betrayed by your parents and brethren, and kinsmen and friends; and some of you they will put to death.
17 A ó sì kórìíra yín lọ́dọ̀ gbogbo ènìyàn nítorí orúkọ mi.
And you shall be hated by all men for my name’s sake.
18 Ṣùgbọ́n irun orí yín kan kì yóò ṣègbé.
But a hair of your head shall not perish.
19 Nínú ìdúró ṣinṣin yín ni ẹ̀yin ó jèrè ọkàn yín.
In your patience you shall possess your souls.
20 “Nígbà tí ẹ̀yin bá sì rí ti a fi ogun yí Jerusalẹmu ká, ẹ mọ̀ nígbà náà pé, ìsọdahoro rẹ̀ kù sí dẹ̀dẹ̀.
And when you shall see Jerusalem compassed about with an army; then know that the desolation thereof is at hand.
21 Nígbà náà ni kí àwọn tí ń bẹ ní Judea sálọ sórí òkè; àti àwọn tí ń bẹ láàrín rẹ̀ kí wọn jáde kúrò; kí àwọn tí ó sì ń bọ̀ ní ìgbèríko má ṣe wọ inú rẹ̀ wá.
Then let those who are in Judea, flee to the mountains; and those who are in the midst thereof, depart out: and those who are in the countries, not enter into it.
22 Nítorí ọjọ́ ẹ̀san ni ọjọ́ wọ̀nyí, kì a lè mú ohun gbogbo tí a ti kọ̀wé rẹ̀ ṣẹ.
For these are the days of vengeance, that all things may be fulfilled, that are written.
23 Ṣùgbọ́n ègbé ni fún àwọn tí ó lóyún, àti àwọn tí ó fi ọyàn fún ọmọ mu ní ọjọ́ wọ̀nyí! Nítorí tí ìpọ́njú púpọ̀ yóò wà lórí ilẹ̀ àti ìbínú sí àwọn ènìyàn wọ̀nyí.
But woe to them that are with child, and give suck in those days; for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
24 Wọn ó sì ti ojú idà ṣubú, a ó sì dìwọ́n ní ìgbèkùn lọ sí orílẹ̀-èdè gbogbo; Jerusalẹmu yóò sì di ìtẹ̀mọ́lẹ̀ lẹ́sẹ̀ àwọn aláìkọlà, títí àkókò àwọn aláìkọlà yóò fi kún.
And they shall fall by the edge of the sword; and shall be led away captives into all nations; and Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the Gentiles; till the times of the nations be fulfilled.
25 “Àmì yóò sì wà ní oorun, àti ní òṣùpá, àti ní ìràwọ̀; àti lórí ilẹ̀ ayé ìdààmú fún àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè nínú ìpayà híhó Òkun àti ìgbì omi.
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, by reason of the confusion of the roaring of the sea and of the waves;
26 Àyà àwọn ènìyàn yóò máa já fún ìbẹ̀rù, àti ìrètí nǹkan wọ̀nyí tí ń bọ̀ sórí ayé: nítorí àwọn agbára ọ̀run ni a ó mì tìtì.
Men withering away for fear, and expectation of what shall come upon the whole world. For the powers of heaven shall be moved;

And then they shall see the Son of man coming in a cloud, with great power and majesty.
28 Ṣùgbọ́n nígbà tí nǹkan wọ̀nyí bá bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí í ṣẹ, ǹjẹ́ kí ẹ wo òkè, kí ẹ sì gbé orí yín sókè; nítorí ìdáǹdè yín kù sí dẹ̀dẹ̀.”
But when these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads, because your redemption is at hand.
29 Ó sì pa òwe kan fún wọn pé, “Ẹ kíyèsi igi ọ̀pọ̀tọ́, àti sí gbogbo igi.
And he spoke to them in a similitude. See the fig tree, and all the trees:
30 Nígbà tí wọ́n bá rúwé, ẹ̀yin rí i, ẹ sì mọ̀ fúnra ara yín pé, ìgbà ẹ̀ẹ̀rùn kù fẹ́ẹ́rẹ́.
When they now shoot forth their fruit, you know that summer is nigh;

So you also, when you shall see these things come to pass, know that the kingdom of God is at hand.
32 “Lóòótọ́ ni mo wí fún yín, ìran yìí kì yóò rékọjá, títí gbogbo nǹkan wọ̀nyí yóò fi ṣẹ.
Amen, I say to you, this generation shall not pass away, till all things be fulfilled.
33 Ọ̀run àti ayé yóò rékọjá, ṣùgbọ́n ọ̀rọ̀ mi kì yóò rékọjá.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
34 “Ṣùgbọ́n ẹ máa kíyèsára yín, kí ọkàn yín má ṣe kún fún wọ̀bìà, àti fún ọtí àmupara, àti fún àníyàn ayé yìí, tí ọjọ́ náà yóò sì fi dé bá yín lójijì bí ìkẹ́kùn.
And take heed to yourselves, lest perhaps your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness, and the cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly.
35 Nítorí bẹ́ẹ̀ ni yóò dé bá gbogbo àwọn tí ń gbé orí gbogbo ilẹ̀ ayé.
For as a snare shall it come upon all that sit upon the face of the whole earth.

Watch ye, therefore, praying at all times, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that are to come, and to stand before the Son of man.

And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, to hear him.
