< 1 Timothy 6 >

1 Bika batu bobo badi ku tsi luyalu lu kivika, bakinzika bapfumu ziawumu bufuana muingi dizina di Nzambi ayi malongi meto mabika vuezo.
Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine may not be blasphemed.
2 Mimvika miomi midi ku tsi luyalu lu bapfumu ziozi ziwilukila mibika lezanga bapfumu ziawu mu diambu badi bakhomba mu Klisto. Vayi miluta kuba sadilanga bu badi batu bawilukila ayi bakundi ba luzoloba Nzambi. Mawu momo mambu fueti longa ayi fueti lubula.
And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
3 Enati vadi mutu weti longa mambu mavenga, ayi kakadi singimina mu mambu ma kiedika ma Pfumuꞌeto Yesu Klisto ayi mu malongi madedakana mukhinzukulu yi Nzambi;
If any man teacheth otherwise, and agreeth not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the doctrine which is according to godliness;
4 buna mutu beni widi nkua luniemo, kasi zaba kadi diambu ko, vayi kimbevo kidi yandi kiyuvulanga biuvu ayi kifindananga ziphaka mambutanga kikhenene, minzonza; bifingu ayi bimbanzila;
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, from which cometh envy, strife, railings, evil suspicions,
5 ziphaka ziphamba zi batu basumuka mu diela diawu ayi bakambulu kiedika, beti banzila ti kinzikanga Nzambi yidi tho yi bakilanga ndandu.
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing gain to be godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
6 Muaki bukiedika ti kinzikanga Nzambi yidi ndandu yinneni enati wummonanga khini mu biobi bidi yaku.
But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 Bila bukiedika tusia nata kadi kima ko va nza ayi tulendi natakadi kima bu tuela botuka va nza.
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 Vayi bu tubeki bidia ayi minledi mivuata, biobi bifueni kaka kuidi beto.
And having food and raiment with these let us be content.
9 Bobo batidi ba zimvuama bawu beti luta bua mu ziphukumunu ayi mu mintambu, mu zinzinunu zi buvungisi ziwombo ayi zimbimbi ziozizinatanga batu ku mbivusu ayi ku nzimbala.
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 Bila “luzolo lu mbongo luidi muanzi wumbutanga mambu moso mambimbi.” Bankaka bu banuanina mu baka ziawu, bazimbala mu minu; bakimonisa ziphasi ziwombo. Nuana nduanunu yimbote yi minu.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some have coveted, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 Vayi ngeyo mutu wu Nzambi, tina mambu momo. Landakana busonga, kinzikanga Nzambi, minu, luzolo, mvibudulu, lembama.
But thou, O man of God, flee from these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Nuana nduanunu yimboti yi minu, zimbidila luzingu lukalumani, bila ngeyo wutelo mbila mu diambu di luawu; ayi mu diambu di luawu wutelimina kimbangi kimboti va meso ma bambangi bawombo. (aiōnios g166)
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. (aiōnios g166)
13 Ndikutumina va meso na Nzambi, wunzingisanga bima bioso, ayi va meso ma Klisto Yesu, wutelama kimbangi ki kitoko va meso ma Ponse Pilatu:
I command thee in the sight of God, who maketh alive all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14 mu diambu wukeba lutumunu lualu mu kambu ditona ayi tsembolo natemu lumbu kiela monika Pfumu eto Yesu Klisto,
That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
15 mutu wowo Nzambi kela totula mu thangu yifuana. Niandi kaka mutu wu zikhini ayi wulenda vanga mamo maka zodidi. Ntinu wu mintinu ayi Pfumu yi bapfumu
Who in his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
16 Niandi kaka, ka kafuanga ko, wumvuandanga va kienzila kilendi baka bu fikumunu ko. Mutu kammuenieti ko ayi mutu kalendi kummona ko. Niandi vuidi nzitusu ayi lulendo mu mimvu mioso. Amen! (aiōnios g166)
Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen. (aiōnios g166)
17 Lubula zimvuama zi thangu yayi ti babika ba luniemo ayi babika tula diana diawu mu kimvuama kieti suka, vayi batula diana diawu mu Nzambiwukutuvananga bima bioso mu kimvuama muingi beto tu bisadila. (aiōn g165)
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; (aiōn g165)
18 Wuba kamba bavanga mamboti, baba zimvuama mu mavanga mamboti, bika baba bakubama mu kaba kuidi bankaka mu ntima wu luzolo.
That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to share;
19 Mu nzila yoyo balenda kukikubikila kiuka kingolo mu diambu diawu. Kiuka kioki kiela ba fondasio mu thangu yidi ku ntuala muingi basimbidila luzingu lu kiedika.
Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
20 Timote, keba bumbote mamo ma bayekudila; tina mambu ma phamba ayi makambulu ma kinzambi; tina ziphaka zi buvungisi ziozi beti tedila nzayilu vayi yidi nzayilu yi luvunu.
O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
21 Bila bankaka bu bakikinina nzayilu yoyi, bazimbala mu minu. Bika nlemvo wubanga yeno.
Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen. The first to Timothy was written from Laodicea, which is the chiefest city of Phrygia Pacatiana.
