Ru-tơ 1
1 Trong đời các quan xét, một cơn đói kém xảy đến trong xứ, có một người từ Bết-lê-hem xứ Giu-đa, đi với vợ và hai con trai mình đến kiều ngụ trong xứ Mô-áp.
And it was in [the] days of [the] judging of the judges and it was a famine in the land and he went a man from Beth-lehem Judah to sojourn in [the] region of Moab he and wife his and [the] two sons his.
2 Người tên là Ê-li-mê-léc, vợ tên là Na-ô-mi, hai con trai tên là Mạc-lôn và Ki-li-ôn, đều là dân Ê-phơ-rát về Bết-lê-hem trong xứ Giu-đa. Đến xứ Mô-áp, chúng bèn ở tại đó.
And [the] name of the man [was] Elimelech and [the] name of wife his [was] Naomi and [the] name of [the] two sons his - [was] Mahlon and Kilion Ephrathites from Beth-lehem Judah and they came [the] region of Moab and they were there.
3 Ê-li-mê-léc, chồng của Na-ô-mi, qua đời, để nàng lại với hai con trai mình.
And he died Elimelech [the] husband of Naomi and she was left she and [the] two sons her.
4 Chúng nó cưới vợ trong người nữ Mô-áp, người nầy tên là Oït-ba, người kia tên là Ru-tơ; họ ở tại đó độ mười năm.
And they took for themselves wives Moabite [the] name of the one [was] Orpah and [the] name of the second [was] Ruth and they dwelt there about ten years.
5 Kế sau, Mạc-lôn và Ki-li-ôn cũng thác, để Na-ô-mi ở lại, không chồng không con.
And they died also both of them Mahlon and Kilion and she was left the woman from both children her and from husband her.
6 Bấy giờ, Na-ô-mi có nghe nói rằng Đức Giê-hô-va đã đoái xem dân sự Ngài, và ban lương thực cho, bèn đứng dậy cùng hai dâu mình, đặng từ xứ Mô-áp trở về.
And she arose she and daughters-in-law her and she returned from [the] region of Moab if she had heard in [the] region of Moab that he had visited Yahweh people his by giving to them food.
7 Vậy, người lìa bỏ chỗ mình đã ở, cùng hai dâu mình lên đường đặng trở về xứ Giu-đa.
And she went out from the place where she had been there and [the] two daughters-in-law her [were] with her and they went on the way to return to [the] land of Judah.
8 Nhưng Na-ô-mi nói cùng hai dâu mình rằng: Mỗi con hãy trở về nhà mẹ mình đi. Cầu Đức Giê-hô-va lấy ơn đãi hai con như hai con đã đãi các người thác của chúng ta, và đã đãi chính mình ta!
And she said Naomi to [the] two daughters-in-law her go return [each] woman to [the] house of mother her (may he deal *QK) Yahweh with you covenant loyalty just as you have dealt with the dead and with me.
9 Nguyện Đức Giê-hô-va ban cho hai con được bình yên ở nơi nhà chồng mới! Rồi người ôm hôn hai nàng, còn hai nàng cất tiếng lên khóc,
May he give Yahweh to you and find rest [each] woman [the] house of husband her and she kissed them and they raised voice their and they wept.
10 và nói rằng: Chúng tôi sẽ đi với mẹ đến quê hương của mẹ.
And they said to her that with you we will return to people your.
11 Ma-ô-mi đáp: Hỡi con gái ta, hãy trở về, đi với mẹ làm chi? Mẹ há còn những con trai trong lòng có thế làm chồng chúng con sao?
And she said Naomi go back O daughters my why? will you go with me ¿ still [belong] to me [do] sons in inward parts my and they will become of you husbands.
12 Hỡi hai con gái ta, hãy trở về đi đi; mẹ già quá mà lấy chồng nữa. Lại dầu bây giờ mẹ nói: Ta có lòng trông mong, từ chiều nay ta sẽ có chồng, dẫu ta sanh đẻ con trai đi nữa,
Go back O daughters my go for I am [too] old for belonging to a husband if I said there for me [is] hope also I belonged this night to a husband and also I bore sons.
13 chúng con há lại muốn đợi cho đến chúng nó khôn lớn, và không lấy chồng khác hay sao? Không, hỡi chúng con, nỗi sầu thảm của mẹ cay đắng muôn phần hơn của chúng con, vì tay của Đức Giê-hô-va đã giơ ra hại mẹ.
¿ Therefore - will you wait until that they will grow up ¿ therefore will you shut yourselves off to not to belong to a husband may not [it be] O daughters my for it is bitter to me very more than you that it has gone forth on me [the] hand of Yahweh.
14 Hai nàng lại cất tiếng lên khóc. Đoạn, Oït-ba hôn và từ biệt bà gia mình; còn Ru-tơ không chịu phân rẽ người.
And they raised voice their and they wept again and she kissed Orpah mother-in-law her and Ruth she clung to her.
15 Na-ô-mi nói cùng Ru-tơ rằng: Nầy, chị con đã trở về quê hương và thần của nó; con hãy trở về theo nó đi.
And she said there! she has returned sister-in-law your to people her and to gods her go back after sister-in-law your.
16 Ru-tơ thưa rằng: Xin chớ nài tôi phân rẽ mẹ; vì mẹ đi đâu, tôi sẽ đi đó; mẹ ở nơi nào, tôi sẽ ở nơi đó. Dân sự của mẹ, tức là dân sự của tôi; Đức Chúa Trời của mẹ, tức là Đức Chúa Trời của tôi;
And she said Ruth may not you entreat me to abandon you to turn back from after you for to where you will go I will go and at where you will lodge I will lodge people your [will be] people my and God your [will be] God my.
17 mẹ thác nơi nào, tôi muốn thác và được chôn nơi đó. Ví bằng có sự chi khác hơn sự chết phân cách tôi khỏi mẹ, nguyện Đức Giê-hô-va giáng họa cho tôi!
At where you will die I will die and there I will be buried thus may he do Yahweh to me and thus may he add if death it will separate between me and between you.
18 Na-ô-mi thấy nàng quyết định theo mình, nên không nói nữa.
And she saw that [was] determined she to go with her and she ceased to speak to her.
19 Vậy, hai người đi đến Bết-lê-hem. Khi hai người đến, cả thành đều cảm động. Các người nữ hỏi rằng: Aáy có phải Na-ô-mi chăng?
And they went [the] two of them until came they Beth-lehem and it was when came they Beth-lehem and it was excited all the city on them and they [fem] said ¿ [is] this Naomi.
20 Người đáp: Chớ gọi tôi là Na-ô-mi, hãy gọi là Ma-ra, vì Đấng Toàn năng đã đãi tôi cách cay đắng lắm.
And she said to them may not you call me Naomi call me Mara for he has caused bitterness [the] Almighty to me exceedingly.
21 Tôi đi ra được đầy dẫy, nhưng Đức Giê-hô-va dắt tôi về tay không. Đức Giê-hô-va đã giáng họa cho tôi, và Đấng Toàn năng khiến tôi bị khốn khổ, vậy còn gọi tôi là Na-ô-mi làm chi?
I full I went and empty he has brought back me Yahweh why? do you call me Naomi and Yahweh he has testified against me and [the] Almighty he has done harm to me.
22 Na-ô-mi và Ru-tơ, người Mô-áp, dâu của Na-ô-mi, từ ở xứ Mô-áp trở về là như vậy. Hai người đến Bết-lê-hem nhằm đầu mùa gặt lúa mạch.
And she returned Naomi and Ruth the Moabite [woman] daughter-in-law her [was] with her who returned from [the] region of Moab and they they came Beth-lehem at [the] beginning of [the] harvest of barley.
